A fun parady of how some authors exagerate aspects of characters to the point of rediculousness and beyond. I laughed . Especially the Akane/Ryoga love scene. That was great.
As for your diatribe concerning the degradation of the great american fanfic...

Let's not let it get that far.
This seems to be a fairly classic slippery slope argument. There is no reason to think that all the fics are going to start looking like kindergarten drivel. Sure there will be more fanfics of this type as anime series get more popular, but no one will read these fics, and they'll end up fading away into oblivion. In the end, there will always be good fics and there will always be bad fics. Some of the good fics will be based entirely on other fanfictions, if the writer is skilled enough he or she might make it work. And some of the bad fics will be based entirely on the manga.
In fact, one of my pet peeves (and I know I'm not alone in this) is when people take whole sections of cannon and copy it almost word for word. This is an extreme case of following the manga, I would say, and is no more disirable than the case you provide of over-exagerating characters.
The xerox(tm) argument only works if the goal is to recreate the original. However, fanfiction only works if the writer puts something more in it. Is it degradation, or enhancement? Well, that just depends on whether you like the fic or not.
Case in point, if it hadn't been for all the fanfictions I've read that have messed up the characters so much, your fanfic would not make any sense at all. As it stands, its quite funny and enjoyable.
That is my current opinion on the matter anyway. Feel free to disagree :-)
