I assume you're already aware that "-chan" and "-kun" aren't
gender-indicative.  A lot of people mistake them as such...
but you do need some way of distinguishing between the
two.  "Male Ranma" and "female Ranma" (or, if you must
use Japanese, "otoko-Ranma" and "onna-Ranma") might
work better.

While "-chan" and "-kun" are not gender-indicative, they do
seem to be a generally accepted practice in fanfiction dealing
with Ranma.  They also have been used by Studio Ironcat's
traslation of "Futaba-kun Change" by Hiroshi Aro to differentiate
between male and female Futaba Shimeru.  And, if the title is
anything to go by, Hiroshi Aro might have used those exact
terms when refering to Futaba. However, that is pure speculation
on my part, as I have not seen the work "in the raw", nor would I
even be able to read the original work.

That being said, with all the other C&C on this work, I can only
point out that in the section just after Nabiki talking with Cologne,
Andrea broke her own rule.  After being asked by Ranma-kun if
she would make Ranma-chan commit seppuku, Nodoka refers to
her as "Ranko".  This is the only time she calls her "Ranko".
Just a little later on, Nodoka refers to her as simply "Ranma."

I enjoyed reading this Andrea, and look forward to reading more
from you in the future.
