Minna,

Before this thread gets banned by the admin staff permit me to give out my two cents.

Point the first: Full Moon wo Sagashite is not a well known series and as such few people would recognize it. In turn, this will snow-ball to the fic in question. Since few people saw the series, few people will read the fic and even fewer people will comment on the fic.

Point the second: On C&C, This is a constructive way of pointing out where the fic can improve. This allows the author to hone his/her writing skills. Recieving C&C is an honor and a privilege, it signifies that the fic you wrote has affected the reader at some level. There is potential for the C&Cer to misinterpret the piece (case in point my good friend Allyn and the fic 'Atomic Kid') making the reviewer take it too seriously, or in a wrong context, or less seriously than he/she should. I have read most of the reviews and find them to be uninsulting, sure some of them have a bit of a 'rude' tone, but that's just their suggestion. You do not have to take their word as gospel. It's your piece. You decide.

Point the third: Shoujou fics are not dissed on this list, they just aren't as wide-spread as they should be. I myself classify WAFFy fics as Shojouish but that's just my opinion. Raye's piece I admit was good, but I didn't know the series so I read it and archived it but took little notice of it. I don't think the reviewers 'attacked' said fic because of the 'five year anniversary' remark. I didn't think they attacked it at all. They just stated their honest opinion.

Now, can we please go back to writing, reading and commenting on fics?

Danke,

Jiro
