       If you got the scratch to spare pick up those folios. Battered Silicon 
Press is doing a fresh run this fall, I think, and they sell out fast. 
They're definitely heirloom books, things you'd want to pass down to your 
kids if they share the same reading tastes as you.

lived in a dream world (Unfortunately of 12 dimensions, so creations

      The only Binder I've read was the story 'I, Robot'. I found it to 

be 

all right, but nothing to make me search out more of his/their work. I 

don't 

read much SF anymore, being more interested right now in the Weird Tales 
tradition.

"I, Robot" is Asimov.
A lot of people don't like "Adam Link" but there were at least two Twilight 
Zone's made based on it and (I think) a B movie. IMO, Earl and Otto's 
finest work and the 'seed' story for Asimov's "three laws", though i've no 
proof he ever read it. (nor which came first) But I think it's the better 
story. But, what do i know. Asimov's good, but too dry in his story 
telling. He did his best work with the aliens in "The Gods Themselves".

       Nah, I meant the very first story in the Adam Link cycle, which was 
called 'I, Robot'. I read it in an anthology edited by Asimov and Greenburg, 
'Best SF of 1939" or some such. That's the extent of my reading of Eando 
Binder.

       I went on an Asimov binge recently. One of my favorite SF writers. 

Interesting little vignette. A nice read. 

      Thanks for the kind words. Was there anything in particular about 

the story    that struck you, or was the tale too slight for that?

@@Nothing in particular. just a nice read. Short stories hard hard to 
write, harder to C&C. Generally, they work or they don't. And it's much 
easier to C&C a BAD story than a good one. ^_*
