FYI, the first thing you do when you get home from school is to change
clothes, so as not to cause the uniform any more wear and tear than is
necessary. That's true for both girls and boys. From what I gather the
kids are pretty keen to get out of the uniforms anyway, as they're not
seen as being particularly cool.
She glanced down at Minaki, who was using one of the towels to brush as
much grime off of her uniform as possible.
...and that's why kids take them off when they get home from school. :-)
Also FYI, "ce" is not a sound in Japanese, so "Eice" can't really be a
Japanese name. Of course, maybe that was intentional. "Ei" is a nice
prefix for a name; one kanji with that pronunciation means "eternal" or
"long." Japanese surnames that start with that kanji include "Eikichi"
(long good fortune), "Eigen" ("long" and "origin"), "Eito" ("long" and
"door"), and "Eikawa/Eigawa" ("long" and "river"). Feel free to make up
your own names, though.
