"Ranma , Nabiki , Akane , Father , Panda! Dinner is ready! Come eat soon!" ,
called out Kasumi's voice through the Tendo Dojo.

Voices answered her that they were coming. Smiling Kasumi set about taking
the food out of the kitchen and setting the table.

Kasumi reflected on how she loved to do things like this. Simple , nice ,
peaceful things like taking care of her family , keeping the house , and
making sure that everyone was happy too. She wished that moments like this
could last longer and she could spend more time doing this. And not have to
spend so much time on her other 'job'. True she was the only one who could
do it but she just wanted a normal life.

She finished setting the table when she heard a knock at the gate. She went
to answer it and saw Ryoga standing there. Ryoga said he was lost and Kasumi
invited him in. He said he would love to come to dinner. They both went in
and closed the door failing to notice the ancient ward that glowed on the
gate stone post and how it flickered and died and took all the other wards
that had glowed briefly on the wall with it.

Everyone was inside and had just got through eating dinner when Kasumi felt
it.

(Oh no , please!) , she thought. (They can't be here now! How did they get
through the wards?!)

"Father!" , Kasumi shouted. "Dark ones near! Under the table!"

"The wards?" , asked Tendo very weakly in a pale voice that matched his
suddenly pale skin.

"They've failed!" , shouted Kasumi. "Move!"

"Everyone away from the table!" , shouted Soun as he jumped up and got as
far back from the table as he could.

The other looked at him and Kasumi wondering they both gone Crazy when the
table started to shake and glow.

Ranma didn't think twice but grabbed Akane and jumped backwards just as
Ryoga did the same thing with Nabiki.

With a loud destructive sound then the floor right under the tabke and the
table itself were blown apart into a million pieces. A _thing_ emerged. It
was horrible and it was covered in an aura of inky black and the feel of
it's ki was so dark , twisted , evil that Ranma and Ryoga couldn't even
stand to look at it. The sheer _evil_ _darkness_ _terror_ that this thing
put out was something.

Ranma stared at the thing and didn't know what it was but the _wrongness_ he
felt from it was enough to make violently ill then. Everyone but Kasumi and
Soun felt the same way.

Soun was just staring at it and then snarled in anger and picked up a spear
and threw it at it. The spear didn't harm it and the thing looked at him and
snarled. Then it threw a beam of darkness at him. Sound dodged it and the
beam passed through the closed door and out into the yard. It didn't damage
anything but there was something _wrong_ you couldn't see anything but it
just felt _wrong_ where the beam had hit. The thing lifted one taloned hand
and gestured and the door and ground , and pond where the beam had struck
flew up in the air and merged together to form something that looked as
horrible as that thing. The new thing growled at them and attacked. The
first thing looked on and laughed. It looked at Soun and smirked then
giggled as it watched the new thing it had just created attack the others.
It said in a voice that sounded like dead , "So Tendo. We meet again. This
time my victory will be complete."

"Never!" , shouted Soun. "You will never devour this world abomination! Not
while I draw breath and fight!"

"Then I shall make you stop." , said the thing as it backhanded the elder
gentleman and sent him into the wall where he impacted with a thunk and slid
down to the floor his sightless eyes frozen in a look of determination as he
fell dead.

"FATHER!" , screamed Kasumi as Soun fell over then dead on the floor.

Ranma looked up from where he was fighting the other thing and said , "Damn!
It's killed Mr. Tendo now! We gotta stop these things!" This caused all the
other Martial Artists to attack it with their most powerful moves and it
barely scratched the horror. Ranma looked up as he saw a claw descending
toward him and knew he was going to die now , he couldn't fight that.

"NO!" , shouted Kasumi. "FIRST MOTHER AND NOW FATHERR! I WON'T LET YOU TAKE
ANY MORE OF THEM FROM ME!"

Kasumi reached into her blouse and pulled out a gold dagger with a curved
blade and nine gems insertedintohandle.

Holding the dagger , with the blade pointed up , out in front of her she
said , "BY THE NINE , GRANT ME THE POWER TO FIGHT THIS EVIL AND REMOVE IT'S
STAIN!"

Suddenly the dagger glowed and Kasumi was enveloped in a white light. It
changed colors and then back to white again. When the light faded Kasumi was
standing there with a set of very form fitting dark blue armor with silver
trim edges and with a pentagram outlined in silver on the center of armor .
The dagger had become dark blue with a silver trim.

The first creature stared at the symbol on the center of Kasumi's armor and
said in startled voice , "NO! IT CANNOT BE! THE GIRL OF THE SEAL IS DEAD!
YOUR MOTHER WAS THE LAST! YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ONE!"
