Things We Wish for 6 is over halfway done as well. 40k in one day,
amazingly. It'll need heavy revising, but it flowed really well so far.

Actually they already screwed up inadvertently by separating Thor from her
hammer.

That may be a mistake.  Does she use any higher brain functions as Thor?

the Mandarin's Centurions are indeed identical to Cylons from Battlestar
Galactic. Kudos if you're old enough to remember that series.

I'm not sure that's a good thing.  I wonder if they ever found that

star known as Dirt or Mud or something like that.

In terms of power, Cylons fall way short of  fun loving spacefaring races,
like the Shiar, Skrulls, Kree, or even Badoon.

In case anyone was wondering, Mexico City's population is somewhere

around

13+ million by the latest census estimate. Just in case the full impact

of

Mandy's statement wasn't fully realized.

That does make it rather excessive if he really wants to rule people
instead of corpses.  I guess he couldn't have destroyed Washington, DC;
that would have made it too easy for the US to respond effectively.

Actually Mandy is of the opinion the world is overpopulated anyway and he'll
need to introduce negative population growth. One of the appealing things
about MC was eliminating a large population which would be a step in the
right direction. However the second target will be more 'high profile', to
show the world that no one is immune to his touch.
Besides, the writer needs DC intact since he needs it for some things in the
future, like financing the Hulkbusters. I didnt' forget about Banner and
Ross from chapter one. Reintroducing them hasn't been convienent is all.
