showing us how utterly disgusting this version of Genma is that the

Nabsy's being a bit less suspicious than I'd expect. Though I suppose
it's possible that she knows more than she's letting on, or she doesn't
care all that much given that she's not the one getting married. :)
Interesting so far. I liked the various glipmses into Ranma's altered
character that we're seeing. Though you might need to be careful about
bits of canon Ranma slipping in. His slightly Gosunkugi-esque reaction
to being touched by Akane, for example, probably doesn't fit this
version of the character, considering some of the stories he alludes to.
I'm sure there is a potential for attraction between this Ranma and
Akane -- she sincerely believes in what she does, which is probably
something he needs -- but it's not going to happen the same way as it
did in canon, IMO, and trying to show it at this point is probably
rushing it.
I liked Kasumi's treatment, BTW. Probably the best-defined and rounded
character in the set so far, IMO. Looking forward to continuing this as
time allows.
