Magic Senshi W prologue

a fanfic by Gun-Knight



    It was the Tokyo Tower, a scale replica of the Eiffel Tower in
Paris, France. It was almost preordained to be the first choice for
schools looking for field trip ideas. On this particular day, no less
than five schools were there.

    "This is sooooo boring Hikaru." commented one particular student
from Juuban Junior High.

    It was also preordained to bore children to tears.

    "I agree Umi. What in the world are we supposed to do here? The
only things up here are these dumb pay binoculars."

    "YAHOO!!!! I can see my house from here!"

    Hikaru sighed. "At least Usagi is having fun."

    "I never would've guessed it. Usagi, having fun without food or
boys?"

    "OH NO!" Usagi cried.

    "What's wrong? Did somebody fall off? Is it Godzilla again?"

    "No! My time ran out and I'm out of money!! WAHHHH!!!!"

    A short, blue haired girl dropped a yen piece in the coin slot.
"There," she said, walking off with her nose in a book. Usagi eagerly
went about her viewing.

    "I don't remember her getting on the bus with us." Hikaru said.
"Do you remember her, Umi?"

    "Don't you get it? Look at the uniform, she's from that snobby
Mugen Acadamy."

    "OH MY!!!"

    "What is it Kasumi?"

    "That wasn't Kasumi, it was Usagi again."

    "What? Did you run out of time again?"

    "No! I forgot to thank her!"

    Usagi took off into the crowd. With the press of the crowds,
neither girl could've gotten far. In fact, Usagi spotted her only a
few seconds later. Unfortunately, Usagi wasn't paying attention to
where whe was going.

    "OOF! Hey, watch where you're going!"

    The collision victim in question was a girl with long jet black
hair. She was wearing a school uniform, then again, everyone was.
Usagi didn't recognize it.

    "Gomen nasai! I'm just trying to catch up with somebody and..."

    "Hopefully you're not going to step on their foot too." she said
snidely.

    "HEY!! That's mean! I've already apolo..."

    Just then, there was a flash of light. It bathed the entire
observation deck. It was bright enough that almost everyone had to
turn away. After a second, the light abated. No one was hurt.

    "Usagi?" Hikaru cried "Usagi? Where are you?"

    "Mizuno, Ami... Honestly, I told that girl to keep up with us."

    "Aino Minako! Stop your games and come to the elevator this
instant! Where are you?"

    "Hino-san! She was right here! Then she disappeared!"

    "Fuu, have you seen Makoto? What do you mean she was right behind
you, she's not there now!"

    The remaining students left at Tokyo Tower would sleep a lot less
easier tonight if they saw and understood the significance of what the
missing five had seen before they were taken.

    They had seen an image of a small boy suspended in the light.

    "Help me," said the boy. "Save Cephiro."
