with a "mother's disapproval" gaze. "It would be appropriate, I
should think. You could start with these chains." She allowed
him a faint ghost of a smile, a hint of forgiveness which might
be found after much hard work.

Kagato gently parted the chains and helped her to her feet,
somehow being missed by the spooled lengths of chain as they
spilled off the slab, then turned, confused. "I feel that I
should start with the galley... but there are lives to be spared
first, aren't there? I'm so confused."

Kasumi paused in pulling on her skirt to shake her head sadly, a
hint of sympathy in her voice. "I did warn you."
