Genma shook his head. "No. I mean none." He glanced at Akane, who had
turned bright red with embarrassment. "I didn't mean for Ranma to bring
you along, {daughter : Daughter}. I wanted to tell him, and let him tell you."
"I can try, {daughter : Daughter}."
She was already trying, very trying.
"I do not see how avoiding me is going to solve this family crisis,
Brother! This so-called marriage of yours is simply not acceptable, and I
demand that you rectify the situation immediately!"
It's interesting to see someone else take the same stance with Kuno that
he took with Ranma and Akane.
"Let me get this straight. Nabiki Tendo is married to Tatewaki Kuno and
nobody knew about it? She married one of the richest guys we know and
didn't have a huge, fancy wedding?" Ukyo paused for a moment, deep in
thought. Then her eyes widened and she snapped her fingers. "I've got
it! {She's : She} HAS to be pregnant!"
Nabiki had better hope she doesn't get pregnant for at least a couple
months. Otherwise no on will believe she wasn't pregnant and aware of it
at the time of the ceremony.
To Ranma's surprise, there was only one person waiting at the gym the
following morning. Allison was there, {and : but} she wasn't dressed for
practice. She was also rather pale, and looked tired.
"Here's a picture of the two of us," she said, and handed a photograph to
Akane. {When Akane looked at it, she saw : It showed} a handsome oriental man standing
beside Allison, with his arm around her.
"Yeah, but they looked better on me."
Akane socked her husband.
Lucky he didn't say anything about them being tight around the hips and
loose--WHAP!
"Akane {very :} bad swimmer. Very bad."
