I'm sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes. I have yet to edit this.
What I have updated is just the rought draft. Once I'm finished with this

<new stuff 8/17>
(The scene changes back on to Marlena as she waits by the edge of the
village. She smiles as she sees Ranma making his way back down the
mountain said. He was walking slowly, as if very tired. It took a good
ten minutes before he made it up to her.)
Ranma: (Weakly)Yo.
Marlena: How'd it go?
Ranma: (Grins)I bet the living crap out of her.
Marlena: You don't look that good.
Ranma: I tried using one of the special technique Boon showed me, the one
with the glowing fist. I wasn't able to hit with it so the energy unused
actually effected me. I'm actually feeling kind of dizzy.
Marlena: (Shocked)Why were you trying for that move? You only learned it
a short while ago, right?
Ranma: I know. Thank goodness for that. Had I actually been really good
at using that technique, I'd probably've fallen unconscious when the
energy was repelled back at me because I was unable to actually hit with
it.
Marlena: That was kind of a shock.
Ranma: (Smirks)You know what's the real shock?
Marlena: What?
Ranma: She used a Hiryu Shoten Ha on me and I was able to land from it.
Last time, when Boon used it on me, I wasn't able to land correctly.
Marlena: But you landed correctly in the first fight.
Ranma: It was due to luck. It had been storming that night. The wind from
it had somehow counteracted against the whirlwind's effect. The second
time around, when I was trying to learn it, I couldn't land, and it was
on a clear day.
Marlena: ................
Ranma: I think through a stroke of luck, because I had bascially tried
using that 'Green hands' technique of Boon's it actually helped absorb
some of the energy that was released, which was enough to allow me to
right myself in the air and land correctly. The enrgy that was absorbed
from the Hiryu Shoten Ha didn't seem to actually be used against me when
it was absorbed.
Marlena: That's incredible.
Ranma: (Chuckles)I think through stroke of luck, I discovered the counter
to this very of the Hiryu Shoten Ha. You know what's really funny? It
turns out that I actually didn't even need to go all-out against her.
Marlena: Really?
Ranma: I punched her. I didn't even punch her with all my might. It was a
simple conventional punch too. It seemed like that was enough to beat
her.(Thinking)It seems like my punches have gotten significantly stronger
over the past week. Heck, it's probably stronger than that elbow attack I
had used to first defeat her.
Marlena: Seems like your training with Boon helped out greatly.
Ranma: Oh yeah.(Sits down)I need to sit down.
Marlena: You okay?
Ranma: Just a bit dizzy. I got hit once in the head. It doesn't hurt. It
seems like I ended up hurting myself more than she hurt me.
Marlena: You mean from that missed technique?
Ranma: Yep. Granted I've got a long way to go before I can use it
effectively. However, the one I managed to use given such a short time of
learning it was enough to get me feeling a bit dizzy.
Marlena: Just rest for a bit. It'll go away. You'll recover soon enough.
Ranma: (Smiles)That's why I'm sitting down. I'll wait here and rest while
you go and talk to the old ghoul....provided she wakes up anytime soon.
(Ranma looks around and notices that Kisen and Sayuri are no where to be
seen.)
Ranma: Where's-
Marlena: They went back to Kisen's house. She just wanted to grab a few
things before she leaves for Japan.
Ranma: It'll slow down the trip, no?
Marlena: Not much. I'll be carrying her.
Ranma: She can't run that distance?
Marlena: She's only been living here for not too long. She can't do that.
It seems like she's just a normal older version of Sayuri.
Ranma: Oh. I guess I'll be carrying both Sayuri and Kisen?
Marlena: Nah. I'll carry Kisen.(Smirks)You're not the only one that can
do feats like that.
Ranma: (Chuckles)Don't worry, I know.
Marlena: If you want, go visit both of 'em at Kisen's place. However,
you're gonna hafta pass through the village center....and I dunno if all
the girls have woken up yet or not. They might go after you.
Ranma: Oh. Well, I guess I'll just wait right here then.
Marlena: (Laughs)If you want.
Ranma: How long's it going to take?
Marlena: Dunno. Just wanna say hi to her. Probably no more than an hour.
Ranma: Okay. I'll take a quick nap.
Marlena: (Narrowing eyes)You're okay, right? You're not gonna pass out or
nothing?
Ranma: (Laughs)No. I'm just tired. We've been running all night remember.
It also didn't help that I used up quite a bit of energy fighting. I just
wanna rest. I'm not wounded or nothing. I've passed out enough times to
last me for a life time. I just wanna nap for a bit.
Marlena: Okay. I'll wake you up when I'm done.
Ranma: Thanks.
(Marlena leaves, heading up the mountain trail. Ranma leans his back
against a nearby giant boulder and closes his eyes. He falls asleep in no
time. As if he just blinked his eyes, he is woken back up.)
Marlena: Hey, Ranma, wake up.
Ranma: (Waking up)Yeah?
Marlena: I'm done.
Ranma: Already?
Marlena: What do you mean already? I was gone for two hours.
Ranma: Whoa. I must've been really tired.
Marlena: Yeah. You were in the exact same position as when I walked off
when I got back. You must've slept like a log.)
Ranma: (Scratching back of head)Didn't feel like it.(Gets up to his
feet)Well, how did everything go?
Marlena: It would have taken short but I actually spent an hour just
waiting for her to wake up.
Ranma: I-I hit her that hard?
Marlena: (Smirks)Seems so. I'm not gonna ask about how the battle went.
The area looks like a battle field. I don't even wanna think about how
hard you must've hit her so that she'd slammed in to the tree like that
for it to fall over like that, roots and all.
Ranma: (Smirks)Let's just say I hit her really hard.
Marlena: I bet. Anyway, has Kisen or Sayuri came back?
Ranma: Not that I know of.
Marlena: All right. Let's go get them and be on our way.
Ranma: Okay.
(Ranma and Marlena head down the mountain train.)
Ranma: So, whatcha guys talk about? If you don't mind my asking that is.
Marlena: Nothing much. She was surprised to see me. We talked for a bit.
I told her about bascially everything from when I left until I came back.
I didn't mention you though and told her that I had simply decided to
visit and say hi since I was in China.
Ranma: How's she taking the defeat?
Marlena: Pretty well. She seemed to have totally forgotten about it.
However, I doubt you'll hafta worry about her anymore. Even though she
seems to act like she hadn't been defeated, I'm sure deep down inside she
knows she lost fair and square.
Ranma: (Smiles)That's good to hear.
(Ranma and Marlena walk by the village center. Ranma braces himself for
yet another encounter with villagers. Marlena seems to actually want yet
another encounter. They look around and notice than there are no more
unconscious villagers strewn about.)
Ranma: I wonder where everyone went.
Marlena: Beats me.
(The two of them suddenly becomes surrounded as mass hordes of villagers
zone in on them from all directions.)
Ranma: ...................
Marlena: Spoke too soon.
(All the villagers form a circle around the two of them. It looks as if
all the females are focusing their attention of Ranma. They have this
love-struck look in their eyes.)
Ranma: Um, I don't like the looks of this.
Marlena: (Smirks)It seems like the news has finally circulated around the
network.
Ranma: What?
Marlena: They finally got wind of what you have done.
Ranma: You mean defeat the old ghoul.
Marlena: Yep.
Ranma: What about it? What does that mean?
Marlena: You've just became what is known as the patriarch of this here
village.
Ranma: ...................
Marlena: Which means you are the absolute ideal husband. There's been
actually a few partiarch but they don't last long before they are
defeated.
Ranma: I-I still don't understand.
Marlena: Once you become patriarch, the Amazon rule changes.
Ranma: C-changes, to what?
Marlena: She who defeats the patriarch becomes the village elder.
Ranma: T-that's how Cologne became the matriarch?
Marlena: Yeah. She was the village elder and matriarch when I was born. I
have no idea who had been the patriarch that she defeated.
Ranma: ...................
Marlena: Last I remember was hearing a story when I was a little girl. It
was of some little guy that came strolling through here and accidentally
beat the village elder of that time and not even knowing about it.
Cologne promptly defeated him when she was young and had been matriarch
since.
Ranma: (Realizing something)No way! Don't tell me that this village's
last patriarch was a man named Happousei?
Marlena: Sorry, but I don't know what his name is. All I remember is that
he was said to have been an evil patriarch, stealing the villagers bra
and panties and such. That's why an exception was made. Everyone wanted
to defeat him not to marry him but to simply establish a new matriarch to
rule over the village.
Ranma: (Laughs)This is unbelieveable! It has to be him!
Marlena: Who's this Happousei person you speak of?
Ranma: (Smirks)Nobody. Let's just say he's going to be a person getting
one heck of a beatdown once I get back to Japan.
Marlena: Um, okay.
(Ranma notices all the villagers eyes staring toward him with what looks
like love in their eyes.)
Ranma: Um, if one of these girls want to become matriarch, then why do
they look at me like that.
Marlena: (Smirks)Because, you're now a double trophy prize.(Laughs)
Ranma: W-what's that mean?(Thinking)How come I don't like the sound of
what's about to come.
Marlena: If you're defeated, the girl'll not only be able to marry you,
but will also become the matriarch, the village elder.
Ranma: ...................(Thinking)This is getting in too deep. I didn't
know defeating Cologne would lead to her losing her title as village
elder. Well, it doesn't matter, she had what was coming to her. She
gambled and gambled wrong.
Marlena: However, there is a way out of this.
Ranma: How?
Marlena: Let someone defeat you.
Ranma: But what about the stupid law about if the patriarch gets
defeated, he and the girl who defeats him have to marry?
Marlena: It's only secondary matter at hand. It's becoming matriarch that
they're really after.
Ranma: (Worried)No! They look to be anything but interested in becoming
the next matriarch.(Thinking)They way they're staring at me is creeping
me out. I feel like they're undressing me with their eyes.
Marlena: (Laughs)You're right. I think it seems to be the flip case, that
they could care less about being the ruler of the village and simply want
to have you.
Ranma: T-this isn't funny!
Marlena: (Laughs)Yes it is. It's just not funny from your point of view.
Ranma: C'mon, help me out here.
Marlena: (Realizing)I know, get defeated by the one girl here not
interested in you.
Ranma: Oh! I know exactly what you mean! Right ahead of ya...
(Without saying another word, Ranma runs toward one section of the groups
of girls surrounding him. He leaps high in to the air, landing behind
them all. He then takes off running, the girls giving chase.)
Marlena: What is that guy up to?
(Marlena looks around and notices that no one is around to fight her. It
seems her assumptions were correct, that they were only interested in
going after Ranma.)
Marlena: Either then realized I'm actually from this village or they just
don't wanna fight me anymore.
(Marlena follows after the group of girls following after Ranma. She
realizes that Ranma is heading in the direction of Kisen's house.)
Marlena: Oh, I get it. He's going to have Kisen supposedly defeat him.
That's a smart idea.
(The scene changes on to Kisen and Sayuri. They were hanging in front of
Kisen's house, wondering where Marlena and Ranma were.)
Sayuri: Ranma should have been back a while ago.
Kisen: You want to go look for him?
Sayuri: Nah. He's probably fine. He asked that we wait for him and
Marlena. It's just that I figured he would have been back earlier.
(Both of them hear a low rumbling noise as if there is a stampede heading
in their direction.)
Sayuri: (Worried)W-what's that noise?
(The two of them look toward the direction of the noise and see Ranma.)
Sayuri: There's Ranma.
(Following closely behind Ranma is a massive horde of villagers.)
Sayuri: W-what's going on here?
(Ranma comes to a sliding halt in front of Kisen.)
Ranma: (Frantic)Kisen, do me a favor and slap me.
Kisen: W-what?
Ranma: T-they're coming. Please, slap me!
Kisen: Why?
Ranma: I defeated the old ghoul and became the patriarch of this village.
If you defeat me, the title of matriarch'll be passed on to you. They're
after me. If you defeat me, I'll be free from any obligation to this
village. Please-
Kisen: But-
(Ranma, realizing that Kisen seems to be reluctant to slap him, realizes
that there is only one way to get her to slap him.)
Ranma: (Softly to self)Forgive me, Shori.
(Ranma reaches forward and grabs Kisen's breasts. Kisen and Sayuri shriek
in shock.)
Kisen: Pervert!!
(Kisen's naturally reaction to someone grabbing her was to slap him,
which she did. The slap wasn't even enough to even sting for Ranma. The
two of them were shocked when Ranma reeled backwards as if hit by one of
Boon's deadly punches and fell backwards on to the ground, seemingly
unconscious.)
Sayuri: Ranma!(Rushes toward his side)
Kisen: (Blushing)D-did I do that?(Looks at hand)
(The horde of girls arrive just in time to see Ranma being defeated by
Kisen. They come to an immediate sliding halt.)
Kisen: ...................
(Marlena jumps over the group of girls to land by Kisen, in a battle
stance.)
Marlena: <Chinese>Yes, you saw that correctly, the patriarch was just
defeated by Kisen. By law, it means she is now the matriarch and you must
listen to her from now on.
(All the girls looked at one another, in a state of confusion.)
Marlena: (To Kisen)Kisen, go along with it. Pretend you defeated Ranma.
Kisen: But-
Marlena: Just tell everyone that Ranma's off limits and is to be your
husband.
Kisen: (Blushing)What?!
Sayuri: (Blushing)What?!?
Marlena: Just pretend. I'll explain later.
Kisen: O-okay.
(Kisen steps forward to face the group of girls staring at her.)
Kisen: <Chinese>Yes, I defeated this man, that means this man is
off-limits.(Blushes)He is going to be my h-husband.
(All the village girls still seem confused.)
Marlena: (Smirks)Tell 'em the disperse or you'll send me after them.
Kisen: <Chinese>Everyone, leave! Or else I'll send Marlena here after
you!
(Marlena steps forward, a big grin on her face.)
Marlena: <Chinese>Anyone ready for round two?
(The village girls look sadly at the defeated Ranma, then up at Kisen,
then back at Ranma. They all seemed to sigh in unison and soon disperse.
Once everyone was going, Ranma quickly gets up to his feet.)
Ranma: Thank you. I owe you one.
Kisen: W-what was all that about?
Marlena: It's a bit complicated. Because Ranma defeated Cologne, it meant
he became the village patriarch, which means everyone was seeking to
defeat him so they can both marry him and become the new matriarch.
Kisen: Where'd you get that notion?
Marlena: What, that's not the case?
Kisen: (Shakes head)No. I've heard of that existing before I came to this
village though. However, it was nulled probably around twenty years ago.
Marlena: Oh. So all of that...
Kisen: I think it was for nothing. Even if you defeated the village
elder, it doesn't matter. She still remains the ruler of the village.
Ranma: Oh. I thought they were chasing me because-
Kisen: I think they just wanted you to defeat them so they'd have to
marry you.
Ranma: ..................
Marlena: Hm, I didn't know that. I thought it was because of something
else. I guess things do change here over time. I guess I've been away for
so long that I don't know what laws are still in effect or not. Hm, that
could explain why all of them seemed very very disappointed when they saw
Ranma supposedly defeated by Kisen, cause they suddenly found out their
ideal husband turned out to be not so ideal...
Ranma: I-I didn't want it like that! I want to leave this village with
'em thinking I'm still prime husband material.
Marlena: (Smirks)Are you listening to what you're saying? It was good
that you took the fall. If you didn't, you're going to have villagers
chasing back to Japan.
Ranma: Oh. I never thought about it.
Marlena: (Laughs) You're a prideful guy, but you should sometimes just
swallow your pride.
Ranma: You've got a point.
Kisen: So let me get this straight, you had me defeat you because you
wanted those girls to stop chasing you?
Ranma: Yeah. I'm sorry I grabbed you like that.
Kisen: (Blushing)I-It's okay.
Ranma: Marlena here gave me the impression that I had become the
patriarch of this village and that all the girls wanted to defeat me to
become the new matriarch...
Marlena: As well as be his wife. It was a law from when I was around. The
villager that defeats the patriarch becomes the new matriach as well as
is allowed to marry him.
Ranma: That too. Anyway, I only had a minute to think so I immediately
came to you so that you would defeat me, because that would make you the
new matriarch as well make it seem like we are to be betrothed.
Kisen: What, you want to marry me? I don't even know you.
Ranma: (Blushing)No. It's not like that. It's just that I realized that
you don't really care all that much for Amazon law which meant that even
though law states it, you would feel no obligation to carry it through.
Kisen: Oh. I get it. Hm, now that I think about it, that's a very good
plan.
Ranma: Thanks. I also figured that since you're going to Japan, that
there's no way that anyone will know if it was carried through.
Kisen: I understand.
Marlena: Of course, things turned out differently. That law no longer
existed so you defeating him made him to look out like a wuss so the
girls realized he isn't good husband material so they let him be.
Ranma: Wuss? I'm not a wuss. Ah, whatever. It doesn't matter anyway. If
I'm to be seen as one so no one chases me to Japan, then so be it.
Kisen: Do you always get in to these kind of situations?
Ranma: Um, not intentionally.
Marlena: Well, it seems like things have been cleared out. We should get
going.
Ranma: You're right.
(Ranma looks by the foot of Kisen's feet. He notices the small bottles.)
Kisen: It's the nanichan.
Ranma: Good.(Notices small bag)What about that?
Kisen: This is all I want to bring back with me to Japan.
Ranma: Okay.
Kisen: It's a kimono Kawa bought me.
Sayuri: (To Ranma)Kawa is Kisen's husband, or should I say ex-husband. He
loved seeing her in that kimono. He's the one that truly loved her and
noticed that she was unhappy because she was scared he would turn out to
be abusive like what happened to two of our other sisters. He had
purposely filed for divorce so she could be free. He's the one that's
dying of cancer and the reason why I came to tell her.
Ranma: I remember that. You told me about him on the ship.
Sayuri: Yeah. I did.
Marlena: Well, I guess we're done here, right?
Kiseni: I think so.
Sayuri: Sis, do you intend to come back?
Kisen: I don't know. (Smiles softly)We'll see how things turn out.
Sayuri: Okay. I was just curious. That's all.(Thinking)Yes, she's giving
him a chance! I knew she would!
Ranma: Well, let's get going.
(Ranma crouches low as Sayuri hops on his back piggyback-style. Marlena
does the same for Kisen. Ranma grabs both bottles, one in each hand,
while Marlena grabs the small bag that contains the kimono. They all cast
one last look at the village, saying their silent goodbyes before they
take off running.)
(The scene changes on to Shori and Akemi and Reia as they arrive at the
hospital in a limo.)
Akemi: (Getting out)Exactly where did this limo come from? I mean we're
in China afterall. It's as if the same limo that escorts us around in
Japan is here escorting around here in China.
Shori: My dad sent for it to pick me up.
Akemi: I know but it seems like we're back in Japan, always riding around
in a limo.
Shori: You want me to ask my dad to have us picked up in a taxi? I don't
mind.
Akemi: Nevermind.
Reia: Akemi, sometimes, I think you're over analyzing things.
Akemi: I don't know. It just strikes me as weird.(Shrugs)Oh well, no
matter. What time is it?
Reia: Just look at your own watch. No need to ask.
Akemi: (Looking at watch)It's around nine.
Shori: I figured we'd be here earlier.
Akemi: We all overslept.
Shori: It's just that I want to be here when Ranma shows up.
Akemi: Ranma left at around midnight. That means he'll show up at that
village at around six. He'll hang around for a bit and be on his way.
That means he'll probably be back here at around one or perhaps two.
(Shori and the others enter the hospital. They talk to the the
receiptionist where they are allowed in to go visit Boon. All three enter
the room, expecting to see Boon and Mr. Hyusa there. To their surprise,
only Boon was there.)
Boon: Come on in. Have a seat.
Akemi: What happened to Mr. H.?
Boon: Went to get something to drink for the both of us.
Shori: D-did you two stay up the whole night?
Boon: Yeah. We were just catching up on old times.
Reia: You two must be tired.
Boon: Nah. We've been known to stay up for entire weeks without sleep.
Shori: What for?
Boon: Training. Sometimes, when you're training so hard and so long, you
forget to sleep. Something like not sleeping for one night means nothing.
Besides, your dad works as a CEO of a major airline company. Surely he
must stay up doing stuff like paperwork and such.
Akemi: Paperwork?(To Shori)Does your dad do paperwork?
Shori: I've never seen him do it before.
Akemi: Actually, if I think about it, I don't think I've ever seen your
dad actually work.
Shori: He works.
Akemi: I know he does, but I never actually seen him doing 'work'.
Shori: Actually, now that I think of it.
Boon: Your father probably has good people working under him that takes
care of menial stuff.
Shori: I think so.
Boon: Oh yeah, I figure I might as relay the message. Ranma's on his way
back. He called around ten mintues ago.
Shori: (Happily)Really?
Boon: Yeah, he left not too long ago. He should be back at around two.
Shori: (Relieved)That's good to hear.
Reia: Keirojin-san, did you and Mr. H. talk a lot?
Boon: Of course. Oh, and please, just call me Boon.
Akemi: How'd you get that name?
Boon: It's just a nickname that was given to me.
Akemi: Oh?
Boon: I've had it for around twenty year, when I started living the life
of the seas. It was given to be by fellow crewmembers when I was a new
recruit.
Reia: Boon. It sounds kind of cool now that I think about it.
Boon: (Grins)Thanks.
Shori: Why Boon? Is it derived from something?
Boon: Yes. Care to guess?
Akemi: Baboon?
Boon: .................
Reia: Boonstick.
Akemi: No, it's Boomstick.
Reia: Oh.
Boon: (Laughs)You girls are funny.
(Boon goes about explaining how his name was derived from Boondocks and
that it was split between him and Marlena since Marlena was always found
close to him.)
Akemi: That's really interesting. I figured it came from Baboon.
Boon: Why baboon?
Akemi: I don't know. Cause you're big like one.
Boon: Don't you mean a gorrila?
Akemi: (Bonks head)Oops. My mistake. I forgot.
Boon: (Laughs)I like you, Akemi. You're funny. Don't change.
Akemi: Um, thanks. I'll try not too.
Boon: (Hoping to make conversation)So, what do girls your age do? As you
can tell, there's a generation gap between the two of us. I'm merely
curious as to just how much there's a gap. What do you kids like?
(The three girls look at one another.)
Akemi: I like shopping.
Reia: Same here.
Shori: I don't mind it.
Boon: (Laughs)Jeez. I guess all females are the same no matter the age.
(Mr. Hyusa enters the room. He is pleasantly surprised to see the three
girls and Boon seemingly getting along much better.)
Mr. Hyusa: Ah, you girls are here.
Akemi: Hey, Mr. H.
Reia: Morning.
Shori: Good morning, Daddy.
Boon: (Points to self)How come you didn't say morning to me?
Shori: Oh. Sorry. Good morning, um, Boon-san.
Boon: (Laughs)I'm just joking around. And please, just call me Boon.
Boon-san. Heh, it sounds like some kinda flower that would give you nasty
rashes.
Reia: What about Boon-sama? What does that sound like?
Boon: Hm, sounds like a yoga technique for stretching your groin.
Akemi: And Boon-chan?
Boon: What you call ripping your pants when you bend over to pick
something up.
Akemi: And Boon-dono?
Boon: Bird droppings that dried up and became hard and can be thrown as
projectiles.
Shori: Ew.
Akemi: What about Mr. H.?
Boon: Sounds short Mr. Hentai.
Mr. Hyusa: Hey!!
(Boon and the three girls start laughing. Shori couldn't help but giggle
as well.)
Mr. Hyusa: (Clearning throat)Anyway, here's your drink.(Hands Boon drink)
Boon: (Taking drink)Thanks.
Mr. Hysua: You girls having fun chatting with Boon?
Shori: (Smiles)I like talking to him.
Akemi: Same here.
Reia: Same here.
Boon: (Smiles)I like talking to you girls too. You make me feel like I'm
young again. I haven't talked to groups of girls since I was around your
age. It's very nostalgic.
Reia: Don't you have Marlena? You said you two are together. How come you
two aren't married?
Boon: I ain't the marrying kind. Gonna be a bachelor for life.
Reia: What about kids? You don't want kids?
Boon: Perhaps one day.
Mr. Hyusa: Friend, you ain't young anymore. Keep that in mind. Sooner or
later, you won't be able to take care of raising children. More sooner
than later.
Boon: I'll keep that in consideration.
Mr. Hyusa: Oh yeah, before I forget, I got a call from Ranma a short
while ago.
Shori: We heard already. Boon told us.(Thinking)I kind of feel weird
calling him just Boon, but if that's what he wants, then I guess I
shouldn't mind.
Mr. Hyusa: Has he mentioned about how we're going to have an extra person
on the jet with us going to Japan?
Boon: Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
Reia: An extra person? Who?
Mr. Hyusa: Sayuri's sister. She wants to go to Japan and I'm offering her
a ride. Hope you don't mind.
Akemi: Even if we did, I doubt there'll be anything we can do about it.
Mr. Hyusa: .................
Akemi: But since none of us probably minds, then that's no problem.
Mr. Hyusa: I'm glad to hear that.
(Time passes. Before we know it, it is around two in the afternoon.
Everyone had been so caught up with talking that they didn't realize that
it was two until Ranma actually knocked on the door as he leaned against
the doorjamb.)
Shori: Ranma!
Akemi: Wow, it's two already?(Looks at watch)Yeah, it is.
(Shori gets up out of her seat and rushes up to Ranma who gives her a
great big hug as well as a quick kiss.)
Ranma: I'm finally back.
Marlena: Boon, how you holding up?
Boon: I'm fine. Wanna get the heck outta here though.
Marlena: Unfortunately, you need to stay here to make sure everything
checks out fine.
Boon: I know. I know. It's annoying but I guess I can deal with it.
(Everyone looks over toward the door where they see a new person standing
by Ranma.)
Ranma: Guys, this Sayuri's sister, Kisen.
(Everyone greets her. Before long, everything is in conversation, asking
questions to Ranma about how the trip was.)
Ranma: Everything went fine.
Boon: How'd the fight between you and Cologne go?
Ranma: (Grins)How do you think?
Boon: Good. How good was she? She was one tough cookies back when I used
to fight her.
Ranma: I really dunno what to say. I think because of all the training I
did on the ship and constantly fighting you gave me a huge edge. She hit
me once, twice actually, but they did little or no effect.
Boon: The battle didn't last long?
Ranma: Not at all.
(Ranma went to explain in detail about how the fight went, Boon listening
so intently that it seemed as if he was vicariously living his rematch
with Cologne through Ranma.)
Ranma: I walked away a bit dizzy and disoriented, but the old ghoul was
out cold.
Boon: (Laugh)Way to go, boy. I knew you'd do well.
Ranma: Compared to fighting against you, that battle was cake.
Boon: (Smirks)It's too bad this happened to me. You have yet to see two
of my other techniques, actually, four. Maybe in the near future, you
will.
Ranma: But I thought two of them were kick-based.
Boon: Tsuki here convinced me to undergo knee surgery. I'm still very
reluctant, but Tsuki's managed to convince me. Anyone else I wouldn'tve
gone down the path.
Ranma: Y-you're going to get knee sugery?
Boon: Yep. I'll be good as new, as if I never had a bum leg to begin
with.
Ranma: That's great.
Boon: (Laughing)Not for you. It means you're in for a real battle if we
ever have another rematch.
Ranma: (Excited)I'll be looking forward to it.
(Ranma goes about explaining everything. Before long, a good hour elapsed
before everyone was now in the know. He even went on to explain how he
even grabbed Kisen, which he apologized profusely to both Shori and
Kisen. He mentioned about hos he is no longer cursed.)
Ranma: It wasn't that hard finding the cure either, thanks to Kisen.
Marlena: Yeah. There were thousands of springs and it would have taken
quite a bit of time determining which one is the nanichuan. Luckily,
because Kisen knew, we found it in no time.
Kisen: It wasn't a problem.
Ranma: How'd you know which one it was anyway? I mean, there are
thousands of springs.
Kisen: Everyone in the village knows which spring is which. It's just
general knowledge.
Sayuri: Did it take you long to learn them all?
Kisen: Not too long.
Ranma: What do you think is going to happen to Cologne?
Kisen: Nothing really. Just because you defeated her doesn't mean she is
no longer the village elder. However, it does mean that whatever
connections you have to her or the village or to anyone in the village is
now null.
Ranma: (Smiles)That's what I wanted to hear.
Shori: What for? Why did you have to defeat her?
Ranma: It was because defeating her cuts my ties with her and Shampoo.
Shori: .................
Ranma: Shori, I told you everything about myself, everything from when I
was cursed until now. I also mentioned about Shampoo and how I
accidentally defeated her and how Amazon law states that she and I are
expected to marry. Well, while in Joketsuzoku, I found out that my ties
to her was not severed. I thought defeating Cologne would have severed
them, but I had defeated her with help. I hafta beat her one-on-one.
While I was there, I did just that.
Shori: So you're no longer tied to her?
Ranma: Right. My ties with her and the Amazon village has been severed
completely, so much that I'll never see Cologne again. I don't know about
Shampoo. I have nothing against her if that's what you mean.
Shori: Because she still believes she's tied to you.
Ranma: (Shrugs)I don't care if she does or doesn't.
Shori: ...................
Ranma: I'll see her when I get back. Heck, I'll see everyone when they
get back. I'm going to get things all cleared out.
Akemi: Speaking of which, Ukyo and Hinako-sensei believe that they have
some connection to you too.
Ranma: (Laughs)Where is this coming from? I didn't know anything about
this.
Reia: We found out, while you were on your way to China...actually to
Korea.
Ranma: (Sighs)God, how complicated has everything gotten...can't I just
be left alone? I don't even know why the heck Shampoo and Ukyo or even
Hinako-sensei would be still interested in the first place. I cleared
things up with Shampoo and Ukyo and told 'em that I loved you and only
you. Did they not hear me correctly?
(Ranma walks over to a seat and sits down, pinching the bridge of his
nose.)
Ranma: Why is this happening?
Akemi: I think Ukyo still thinks she's your fiancee.
Ranma: She's just a childhood friend. I told her I only see her as a
friend before all of this happened, before I ended up leaving for China.
I thought I made it clear to her. She even accepted it. So why is she
thinking this all of a sudeen?(Sighs)
Boon: (Laughs)Seems you're in a world of crap, aren't ya?
Ranma: You're telling me.
Boon: Why are you dwelling over it? Why not just have it all resolved?
Ranma: Huh? What do you mean? How so?
Boon: You love Shori, right?
Ranma: Right.
Boon: Tell whoever that has a problem to go screw themselves.
Ranma: It's more complicated than that.
Boon: Don't seem so to me.
Ranma: ...................
Boon: How's it supposedly complicated.
Ranma: Ukyo is my best friend.
Boon: Ooh. Maybe I was wrong. That seems complicated.
Ranma: ...................
Boon: Is she hot?
Ranma: She's my friend! What kinda question is that?
Boon: Look. If she's your friend, then she should be happy for you to
find the person you love. What kind of friend is she to think about her
own feelings over your own. That's not a friend I would want.
Ranma: ...................
Boon: And who's this Hinako-sensei person?
Ranma: My teacher.
Boon: (Laughs)You're incredible, Ranma. Absolutely incredible. How didja
get yourself in to this situation?
Ranma: I don't know! If I knew, I would have stopped it from ever turning
in to what it already has.
Boon: I don't really know who Ukyo, Shampoo, and that teacher is, but
they should know you're in love with someone else and deal with it.
Ranma: ...................
Boon: If they have any problems with it, that's tough for them.
Ranma: True.
Boon: You know who you love. That's all that matters.
Ranma: (Smiles)Thanks. That's good advice.
Akemi: It seems like you still have some more things to get cleared up
after you get to Japan.
Ranma: Not really. All that mattered was already cleared up.
Akemi: What was that?
Ranma: That Shori and I were meant to be together. Everything else is
just loose ends that should be tied up but doesn't really matter if they
don't.(Thinking)I better not mention that severing ties with the Amazons
is very important because I didn't want anyone coming after me and
attacking Shori in the process.(Begins to talk)Don't worry, I'll clear
everything up. I've been through so much. There's justa little bit more
before it's clear sailing. I'll clar everything up once and for all once
I get back to Japan.
Mr. Hyusa: Well, I guess now that everything is resolved here, we'll get
to Japan so Ranma can do just that.(To Sayuri)Are you sure you don't want
to go with your sister to Japan?
Sayuri: I'll stay here with Marlena and Boon.
Marlena: I recommend you go with them. The ship won't be back to pick us
up in a week. That gives you plenty of time to visit and be back.
Kisen: I don't mind. Besides, we haven't seen each other in a while. It
gives us some time to catch up.
Sayuri: That'd be good, but there's no way I can get back.
Mr. Hyusa: If you really want, I'd can get you a flight back here via
Aido Airlines. There's a major airport located only ten miles from here.
The only problem you have to worry about is getting from the airport and
to the docks.
Sayuri: R-really? You don't mind?
Mr. Hyusa: It's no problem.
Marlena: (Smiles)Well there you have it. Now you can go visit Japan with
your sister.
Sayuri: (Very happy)I-I don't know what to say...
Marlena: (Smiling)Thanks to Mr. Hyusa over there would be nice.
Sayuri: (To Mr. Hyusa)Thank you! Thank you very much!
Mr. Hyusa: It's not a problem.
Boon: (To Marlena)Whar are you going to do?
Marlena: What else, stay here with you.
Boon: Why not go visit Japan?
Marlena: No thanks.
Boon: You sure?
Marlena: (Smiles)I'm sure.
Boon: (Shrugs)Okay. Suit yourself. Dunno why you're going to stay here
with me. There's nothing much to do except just talk.
Marlena: What's wrong with that?
Boon: Nothing.
Mr. Hyusa: Well, I guess we'll be going.
Boon: You take care, Tsu, y'hear?
Mr. Hyusa: You too, Boon. You've got my contact info?
Boon: (Nods)Yeah. I'll be sure to come visit after I'm outta here.
Mr. Hyusa: Good.
Marlena: What about me? You never gave me your contact info.
Mr. Hyusa: You and Boon are always together. Where he goes, you're sure
to be nearby.
Boon: Don't worry, I've got the info. If you want it, I'll give it to
you.
Marlena: That's fine.
(Mr. Hyusa walks over and gives both Boon and Marlena a quick hug each.
They say their goodbyes. Everyone else takes their turn saying their
goodbyes before leaving. Ranma is last to speak to Boon and Marlena.)
Ranma: Boon, I'm looking forward to our rematch. I wanna finish off that
last fight.
Boon: (Grins)Don't worry. Just give me a few months. Once I'm out of
here, I need to take it easy. After then I'll come to Japan to visit you
guys and have knee surgery. Once it heals, I'll be as good as new and
will come knocking on your door for a rematch.
Ranma: Definitely looking forward to it.
Marlena: Don't worry, I'll watch over him to make sure he works out hard
to make up for the lost time spent recovering.
Ranma: Good.
Marlena: Hey, I heard you talking to Sayuri when we were on our way to
Joketsuzoku. When d'you plan on asking Shori to become your fiancee?
Ranma: I'm going to ask her when the time is right.
Marlena: Actually, considering how much you two seem to be in love, any
time is right.
Ranma: I guess. But I'm sure when I do ask, she's going to remember that
day for the rest of her life. I want to to be very special.
Marlena: Good idea. It kinda loses its romance if you just ask from outta
the blue and take no special effort to bringing up such a question.
Ranma: Right.
Marlena: Well, good luck.
Ranma: Thanks. Take care. Hope to see you guys soon.
Boon: Take care, Ranma.
(Ranma leaves. He exits out in to the hallway where he sees Shori waiting
up for him. The rest of the group had gone up ahead. She gives him a meek
smile, a smile that he finds very endearing.)
Ranma: I'm so glad we got everything cleared up.
Shori: Same here.
Ranma: I really don't know what I would have done without you.
Shori: N-neither would I.
(Ranma extends his hand. Shori looks at it. A second later, she smiles up
at him and slips her hand through.)
Ranma: I know this sounds kinda cheesy, but you make me feel whole.
Shori: (Teary eyed)I-it's not cheesy. I feel the same way when I'm with
you.
Ranma: I'm glad I met you.
Shori: I'm glad I met you too.
(Holding hand in hand, they head off toward the awaiting limo waiting
outside the hospital.)
(Opening scene: It is an early Friday morning. It is slightly chilly and
foggy out but we can see the sunrise in the distant horizon. We are in
Nerima now where we see doing her usual morning jog as she runs along her
usual jogging route.)
Akane: It's finally Friday. Ranma will be arriving in Korea late today
where we'll be meeting him. I wonder when Shori'll contact us to take her
dad's private jet up there. She said sometime after school, but I'm not
too sure exactly when.
(Akane continues to jog. It is foggy out so she is unable to recognize
the figure leaning against a lampost.)
Akane: (Curious)Who's that?
(Akane continues jogging. As she gets close enough, she immediately stops
jogging upon recognizing Ranma. She notices there are four bottles
sitting by his feet.)
Akane: (Shocked)R-R-Ranma?
Ranma: (Smiles)Yeah.
Akane: W-why? h-how? When?
Ranma: I got back late last night.
Akane: I thought you were on a ship headed toward Korea.
Ranma: I was, but I ended up in China because something happened. Shori
got me and now I'm back in Japan.
Akane: I-I'm glad you're back.
Ranma: Thanks. I'm glad to be back.
Akane: Have you told everyone else?
Ranma: (Shaking head)No. You're the first person I came to see.
Akane: (Blushing)R-really?(Notices bottles)What's with the four bottles?
Ranma: I found the nanichuan.
Akane: Y-you did? A-are you-
Ranma: Yes. I've been cured. I no longer have a curse. One of those
bottles is for my dad. I assume he's staying at your place, right?
Akane: Yes.
(Ranma hands Akane one of the bottles. Written on it was 'nanichuan'.)
Akane: What are the other three for?
Ranma: Mousse, Shampoo, and Ryoga.
Akane: Ryoga? He's no cursed.
Ranma: (Nervously)Um, did I say that? I meant for myself. One of them is
the nyanichuan for Shampoo. I have a spare one for just in case I get
splashed by that. God forbid I get cursed again by the same water I
brought home to help Shampoo out.
Akane: .....................
Ranma: I'm not taking any precautions.(Thinking)Actually, that's for
sure. I have extra nanichuan still at Shori's place. I just brought
enough for everyone and even Ryoga, just in case I actually bump in to
him.
Akane: Um, where are you staying? You said you got back last night.
Ranma: Shori's place. I crashed in their guest room.
Akane: ......................
Ranma: I cam here to clear everything up, once and for all.
Akane: ......................
Ranma: I'm sure by now you know I'm very much in love with Shori.
(When Akane hears those words, the willingness for her to fight to try
and get Ranma back leaves her. Deep down inside, she knows that she can't
compete. Now his words confirm it even more.)
Akane: Y-yes. I know.
Ranma: I came here to make sure there's no hard feelings.
Akane: ......................
Ranma: I love Shori. I came here hoping that there would be no bitter
feelings because of this.
Akane: ......................
Ranma: However....I'm sad to say that even if you are bitter about such a
thing, then you're going to have to live with it.
Akane: ......................(Thinking)Ranma's putting his foot down. His
finally being firm.(Begins to talk)I have no bitter feelings.
Ranma: Really?(Smiles warmly)I'm glad. I'd hate for us to depart like
that.
Akane: D-depart? W-what do you mean?
(Ranma steps forward and places his hands on her shoulders. He looks deep
in to her eyes. She suddenly feels the need to shiver, and it wasn't from
the chilly morning air. After a moment, tears start trickling down his
eyes. He steps forward and embraces Akane.)
Ranma: Akane, I really care about you. I'm not lying. I'm so glad you
don't have anything against my being in love with Shori.
(Akane is silent for a long moment before her hands slowly creep up to
eventually return the embrace. Tears start flowing from her eyes as
well.)
Akane: I-I care about you too.
Ranma: I'm so glad I didn't have to do what I feared most.
Akane: W-what are you talking about?
Ranma: I was about to walk out of your life forever if you had problems
with me and Shori.
Akane: .....................
Ranma: I love Shori that much that I'm willing to do that. If it meant
walking out of your life forever, I would have done it. I swear, I would
have. But it would have killed me to have done it because I never wanted
to be like that.
(Ranma gently breaks his embrace. He stares deeply in to her eyes to make
sure she understood her words. The moment they make eye contact, Akane
breaks down and begins sobbing. All her emotions came like a deluge as
she came to suddenly realized the feelings she had for Ranma all this
time but had dared not show. She hugs Ranma with all her might.)
Akane: (Sobbing)W-why?! W-why did it have to end up like this?! What did
I do wrong to deserve this?!
(Ranma steels himself. He gently breaks his embrace from Akane, Akane
falling to the floor sobbing. Ranma fights back the tears welling up in
his eyes once again and the urge to crouch down in front of her to
comfort her)
Ranma: (Turning around)Goodbye, Akane. I wish I didn't come to this. If
you ever see my father, please let him know I'm at Shori's place and that
I won't be coming back anymore. Please, take care of yourself and tell
everyone goodbye for me please.
(Ranma, tears flowing, picks up the three bottles and walks off,
disappearing in to the fog.)
Akane: (Sobbing)R-Ranma......p-please...........
(The scene changes. We are in front of Ucchan's where we see Ranma enter
the scene from the right. He seems visibly tormented. We see as he wipes
his tears away and steel himself. He can be seen spending a good half
hour in front of the store bracing himself for his talk with Ukyo. He
takes several deep breaths and then knocks. It takes a good few minutes
before Ukyo answers. She looks like she had been woken from her sleep.)
Ukyo: R-Ranchan??
Ranma: (Smiles)Morning, Ucchan.
(As if forgetting what Ranma had said to her before he left Japan, Ukyo's
jumps forward and hugs him deeply.)
Ukyo: I missed you, Ranchan.
Ranma: I missed you too. C-can you please let go of me?
(Ukyo breaks her embrace to look at him.)
Ukyo: S-sorry.
Ranma: I-it's okay.
(Ukyo asks questions in similar fashion to what Akane had asked earlier,
about why he was back in Japan instead of Korea, when he got back, and
where he was staying. He also went to explain that he had also been
cured.)
Ukyo: I'm so glad for you, Ranchan. It's about time.
Ranma: Thanks.
(Ukyo notices that he seem to be fighting back tears.)
Ukyo: Something the matter?
Ranma: Yes. I came here to clear things up with you.
Ukyo: .....................
Ranma: However, depending on how you react....it will also mean whether
or not I walk out of your life forever.
Ukyo: (Very frightened)W-w-what are you talking about, R-Ranchan?(Takes
step back)
Ranma: Ucchan, I care deeply about you. You're my best friend. However, I
need you to know that I only see you as a friend and nothing more.
Ukyo: ....................
Ranma: I love Shori. I love her with all my heart.
Ukyo: ....................
Ranma: I came here to let you know this. I don't want there to be any
bitter feelings between you and I about that. I still want to be your
friend. No, I want you to be my friend, to remain my friend.
Ukyo: I-I don't know what to say.
Ranma: Please say that, as a friend, you're happy for me. That you're
happy that I've found happiness.
Ukyo: ....................
Ranma: (Becoming teary eyed)Please.....d-don't make me do
this.(Thinking)I don't want to have to walk out on your life...
Ukyo: (Tears starting to flow)What do you w-want me to say?
Ranma: Please, be happy for me...
Ukyo: (Sobbing)How can you say that? How I can I be happy for you? Can't
you tell how much it hurts me seeing you with someone besides me?!
(Ukyo grabs on to Ranma, hugging him tightly, crying in to his shoulder.)
Ukyo: I tried. Really. I tried to move on....but I know I can't....I
can't....
(Ukyo falls down to the ground crying)
Ukyo: Why does it have to be like this?
Ranma: (Fighting back tears)I-I'm sorry. I-I'm very sorry.
Ukyo: Why do you love Shori and not me?
Ranma: I'm sorry. I just do.
(Ranma crouches down by Ukyo.)
Ranma: Ucchan, if you do not accept the fact that I love Shori, then I'll
be forced to leave.
Ukyo: ..................
Ranma: Ucchan, don't make me do it.....but I will walk out of your life
forever if I must.....because I love Shori that much.
Ukyo: ..................
Ranma: Do you accept my loving Shori?
Ukyo: (Looking down at ground)I-I can't......I c-can't. I just can't. I
love you so much that I can't.
(Ranma leans forward and kisses Ukyo on the top of her head.)
Ukyo: Goodbye, Ucchan. Take care of yourself.
(Ranma turns around and leaves.)
Ukyo: (Sobbing)R-Ranchan....
(The scene changes. We are in front of the Nekohanten where we see Ranma
enter from the right. We see as he waits in front of the restaurant for
several minutes while he tries to control his emotions. He is forced to
steel his emotions when the front door opens and out steps Mousse, ready
to do some early morning sweeping before the store is expected to open.
He is surprised to see Ranma.)
Mousse: (Shocked)R-Ranma! W-what are you doing here?
Ranma: I came here to see Shampoo.
Mousse: What do you want with her?!
Ranma: (Annoyed)Don't even start, Mousse. I'm not in a good mood.
Mousse: ....................
Ranma: (Producing bottle)Here.
Mousse: (Takes bottle)What is it?(Looks at bottle)
Ranma: Read the label.
Mousse: (Reading)Nanichuan.(Eyes widen)T-this is the nanichuan?
Ranma: Yeah.
Mousse: For me?
Ranma: (Annoyed)No, for Shampoo.
Mousse: Why would she-
Ranma: Of course it's for you.
Mousse: Um, t-thanks.
Ranma: I figured it would come in handy. Anyway, can you go get Shampoo?
I need to talk to her.
Mousse: Fine.
(Mousse goes in to the restaurant. After a few minutes, Shampoo emerges.
She runs right up to and hugs Ranma.)
Shampoo: Ranma! What you doing here?
Ranma: Please let go of me.
Shampoo: (Releasing embraces).....................
Ranma: I got back from China last night.
Shampoo: China? But shampoo thought Ranma be in Korea today. That what
she was told.
Ranma: A change of plans.
Shampoo: Well, Shampoo happy Ranma back.
(Ranma reaches in to his pockest and produces a bottle. He hands it to
Shampoo wholooks at it curiously.)
Shampoo: What this?
Ranma: It's the nyanichuan.
Shampoo: Really? Does that mean-
Ranma: Yes. I found Jusenkyo. I've been cured of my curse as well.
Shampoo: ........R-Ranma no need Shampoo to find Jusenkyo.
Ranma: No. I didn't.
Shampoo: ...................
Ranma: I also stopped by Joketsuzoku.
Shampoo: You did?
Ranma: (Smirks)The old ghoul lied to me. There was no cure waiting for me
in China. All she wanted to do was have me come to China and to
Joketsuzoku thinking that she can actually prevent me from leaving after
I got there.
Shampoo: Really?
Ranma: As you can tell, her plan didn't work. In the process, I also
defeated her, in pure one-on-one battle.
Shampoo: Shampoo no nothing of plan.
Ranma: (Surprised)You didn't?
Shampoo: No.
Ranma: (Shrugs)Well, it doesn't matter. Because I beat her, it means that
even she now fully acknowledges that our engagment has been nulled.
Shampoo: ...................
Ranma: I beat her the first time around, but with help, so she never
truly believe or acknowledged that the engagment had been nulled.
However, because I beat her with no help when I went to Joketsuzoku, she
can do nothing but null the engagement.
Shampoo: How you manage to defeat great-grandmother? She very very
powerful.
Ranma: (Smirks)I've gotten better over time.
Shampoo: Wow.
Ranma: However, that's besides the point. I'm here to clear some thing up
with you, once and for all actually.
Shampoo: W-what is it?
Ranma: I came here to find out about what you think about me loving
Shori.
Shampoo: ................
Ranma: You know that I love Shori. However, I want you to know just how
much I love her. I like you and I care about you...
Shampoo: (Blushing).............
Ranma: ...but I will walk out of your life forever if you harbor bitter
feelings because of this.
Shampoo: ................
Ranma: Do you understand? I love Shori, not you.
Shampoo: ................
Ranma: I would like to remain your friend, but only as a friend. Nothing
more. I'm sorry if this hurts you but-
Shampoo: (Teary eyed)Why it have to be like this?
Ranma: Shampoo, you only wanted to marry me because I defeated you, no, I
accidentally defeated you. That's not a basis for deciding a husband.
Shampoo: Shampoo know that...
Ranma: Oh.
Shampoo: Shampoo realize that long time ago. Shampoo also realize she no
longer needed Amazon law as excuse for trying to get together with Ranma.
Ranma: .................
Shampoo: Shampoo really care a lot about Ranma.
Ranma: I'm sorry, but I love Shori.
Shampoo: But Shampoo love Ranma.
Ranma: I'm sorry, but I love Shori.
Shampoo: Shampoo no like that.
Ranma: I'm sorry.
Shampoo: ...............
Ranma: Do you understand that I love Shori and only Shori?
Shampoo: (Hugging Ranma)Ranma should love Shampoo, not Shori.
Ranma: .................
Shampoo: Shampoo better choice for Ranma than Shori.
Ranma: (Angry)Who are you to judge?
Shampoo: ................
Ranma: I'm sorry it had to come to this, but it's obvious that you don't
approve of me and Shori being together. You don't seem to understand the
you and I are not a couple.
Shampoo: That because we so good together.
Ranma: (Sadly)Goodbye, Shampoo.
(Shampoo reaches out and grabs one of Ranma's arms. He looks down at his
seized arm.)
Ranma: Please, don't touch me.
Shampoo: (Tears flowing)..................
Ranma: Please, tell Mousse I said farewell. Take care.
(Ranma heads off.)
(The scene changes on to the Kuno residence, a large mansion that almost
rivals Shori's own home. We are in the front gate where we see Ranma
entering the scene from the righ, easily hopping over the giant outter
wall that surrounds the residence. He walks across the vast front lawn.
To the front entrance.)
Ranma: Shori's home is actually bigger than the Kuno estate but there is
nowhere near as large a front lawn.
(Ranma looks up at the giant double doors at is the front entrance. As he
does, he hears the sound of rustling behind him. He looks behind him and
sees five vicious attack dogs growling at him.)
Ranma: When the heck did the Kunos have attack dogs?(Shugs)Oh well,
they're just dogs.
(One of the dogs bark. A moment later, all the dogs start barking, all of
them snarling.)
Ranma: (Annoyed)Go away! I'm not in the mood for this!
(All the dogs cringe and start backing off.)
Ranma: That's right, you animals are smart and can judge a person purely
on your instincts.
(The dogs sits down obediently.)
Ranma: Well? I said go away!
(The dogs run away, tails tucked between their legs. After a moment,
turns around to knock on the door. Before his knuckles touch the door, it
opens to reveal the Kuno's butler.)
Butler: (Thinking)What was all that barking about?
(The butler is caught by surprise when he sees Ranma.)
Bulter: W-where did you come from?
Ranma: Is Kodachi here?(Thinking)No need to see Kuno.
Bulter: Why yes, shey is. She's getting ready for school.
Ranma: May I please speak to her?
Bulter: Might I inquire as to what this is about? Who are you?
Ranma: Just tell her Ranma Saotome is here. I just wanna talk to her
about something.
Butler: Very well. I'll go get her. Please, come on in.
Ranma: No thanks. I'll wait here.
Butler: Okay.
(The butler disappears. Ranma waits for a few minutes before he is
greeted by Tatewaki Kuno first. Ranma hears him running straight toward
the entrance from within the home.)
Kuno: (Bokken held overhead)Evil sorceror, how dare you step foot on Kuno
property.
(Kuno brings the bokken down, trying to hit Ranma on the top of his head.
He misses as Ranma quickly sidesteps, the front tip of the bokken hitting
the ground where Ranma was just standing.)
Ranma: (Annoyed)I can't believe I'm even doing this.
(Before Kuno could bring his bokken back overhead, Ranma grabs the bokken
and holds on to it tightly.)
Kuno: Let go, sorceror!
Ranma: I'm not here to fight, Kuno.
(Kuno continues to try and pull the bokken away. As he does so, Kodachi
appears from no where, running right past him, glomping on to Ranma.)
Ranma: ................
Kodachi: Ranma-sama! You've come to see me!
Ranma: (Angry)Don't touch me!
(Kodachi quickly releases her grip, stepping back.)
Kodachi: I-is something the matter, dear?
Ranma: Don't call me dear!
Kodachi: ..............(Thinking)So cold!
Kuno: Let go of my weapon, foul sorceror!
(Ranma smirks as he lets go. Kuno goes tumbling, his weapon in hand. He
quickly gets up to his feet and charges Ranma again. Before he could
strike at Ranma again, he is grabbed by the throat. Ranma sneers as he
lifts him up with one arm, shoving him against the sidewall of the alcove
that was a part of the entrance.)
Ranma: (Sneering)What the hell's wrong with you! I'm not here to fight!
Kuno: Let go of me!
Ranma: I'm not even here to see you! Mind your own business!
Kuno: You are on Kuno property! I am making it my business!
Ranma: Do you want me to knock you out? I've gotten a lot stronger since
you last saw me! I have no qualms about putting you through a world of
hurt!
Kuno: ...................
Ranma: Will you behave if I let go?
Kuno: ...................
Ranma: Well?
Kuno: (Sighs)Very well.
Ranma: I'm in no mood for any of this. Don't think you're going to get
the drop on me if I let you go.
Kuno: I wont.
Ranma: Hmph!
(Ranma let go of Kuno. Kuno rubs at his neck glad to be able to breath
easier.)
Ranma: Now if you don't mind, I'd like to talk to Kodachi, without you
here.
(Ranma turns around and faces Kodachi.)
Ranma: Where can we talk in private? I've got some things I'd like to get
cleared up.
Kuno: I have deceived you, sorceror!
(Kuno raises his bokken and strikes Ranma in the back of his shoulder
with all his might. To his surprise, his bokken breaks in half from the
impact.)
Ranma: (Fuming).................
Kuno: What the?
Ranma: I warned you!!!
(Ranma turns around and send a wickedly powerful punch at Kuno's face,
sending him flying in to the house. He crashes in to the wall on the
other side of the giant entrance corridor. He hits the wall so hard that
it ends up crashing through it, falling down in the room behind that
wall, completely unconscious.)
Ranma: (Smirks)Heh, that felt good.
Kodachin: (Blushing)Ranma, you're so strong.
Ranma: ....................
