In Japan, where conformity is the norm, it makes sense that some one of Amy's
intellegence would be quiet and withdrawn. However, in America, such a person
would probably be a tad more outgoing. In this case, she's not really aware
that what she does is so incredible.
The nail that sticks up gets hammered down in the US too, just not with as
much official approval. Naturally though, all the students in Minnesota
