Oh, lordy, there's the first warning sign.
Yep.
At that moment, a vehicle that the humans called pickup truck slammed
into Braze. It was painted in several colors and dented along the front.
Uhoh, A pick-em-up truck! And the second flag is waving in the
breeze... Do I here DIXIE playing?
Nah. "Camptown Races" Foghorn Leghorn was a musical genius for singing that
song.
The driver's side opened, and a woman stepped out. She was young, with long
blonde hair and blue eyes. She wore a red and white shirt and very short
blue shorts.
Sort of Daisy Duke meets Sailor Moon... It could work.
That was my thought. If I was planning to continue this, that is. Which I'm
not. There are some things even I won't do.
She was barefoot, a pistol was carried on her hip and she held a
shotgun in one hand.
Usagi the Pistol-packin'-mama?!!? Whoops... better make that Bunny.
At her side, a big black dog with a yellow cresenct moon
on it's forehead and a weary expression stood.
Basset hound? Or just a good ol' coon-dog?
Your call.
Grinning at Jadeite, revealing
that she was missing a front tooth, the young woman aimed the shotgun
at adeite and pulled the trigger.
Ol' tux-boy thought bunny wasn't listenin' too good that day, huh?
Only for as long as it took her to get the pistol.
Welcome to the world of the Redneck Senshi.

Author's Note: It came to me as I was waking up. Two words popped into
my head: Sailor Redneck
I am so very, very sorry...
As well you ought to be...
And I am.
By the way, I used a couple of redneck stereotypes myself, and VALIANTLY
suppressed one of them on reading that she was barefoot.
Well, I did think about putting her in red wading boots, but decided that
would be too absurd.
