 Ditto. :)

It is kinda sad and rough, but hey, this isn't a darkfic! It's a weird
fusion/crossover! ^_^

Oops. Best to blame it on Ranma.

Hmm... I'll consider that aspect. Think Rei's that sort of person? ^_^

 Heh

Good ol' Captain Harlock. I'd never seen that one, but thankfully, Jussi
Nikander was kind enough to supply me with enough details to make
the scene passable.

 Nice teachers, all right.

Mostly villains, but a couple of darkish heroes thrown in for good measure.

Practically a typical school, really. ^_^

 My. He is good.

Heh. I see you didn't let it go after all.

Well, all that looming overshadowing (as opposed to foreshadowing)
had to go _somewhere_. ^_^

It should become painfully obvious what happened to Genma and
why he doesn't think the Neko-ken's such a big deal...

 My. That is seldom seen.

Indeed. I've been trying to expand on my metaphors and similies here
and there. It's surprising what one can get away with.

Hmm. Not sure about that one either.

In what aspect? The setup, or what this guy says he's going to do?

 Ouch

Always the silly youma. Why silly youma? Because the concept of
an evil empire/kingdom conducting covert operations and sucking out
the lifeforce of humanity is a rather dark and brooding concept, normally
relegated to the realms of horror stories and the collective works of
H.P. Lovecraft (whose works I really need to start reading sometime
before Cthulu wakes up again).

So, the silly monsters are there to lighten up an otherwise horrifying
situation. I think. ^_^;;;

Of course, sometimes, they go too far, like in the SuperS series...

Youma: Do you like boxing?

Venus: I don't know. I've never played.

Youma(evil grin): Good! (turns into a giant kangaroo) KANGAROO BOXING!!!

Then again, is there ever such a thing as _too_ silly? ^_^

Nice work. Sorry I don't have as much to say about this one.

Thanks for the commentary, though. Optimally, I prefer a line-by-line
review with suggestions for improvement on every paragraph, but those
take hours and hours to do right, so I can't really ask anyone to do that.

One of these days, DB, I'll pick up one of your works that I feel
confident enough about to review, and show you what I'm talking about.
(People like Joseph Fenton and Aaron Bergman know what my reviews
are like. Mwa-ha-ha-haaaa! ^_-)

Until I find the right one (or until you find one that you'd like me to go
over), thanks for the review!
