Just imagine five labradors in vinyl seifuku and you'll come pretty close

Oh the caninity! Please Ghod, let it end! No wonder Haruka is so twitchy.
A Youma General was painting a sign on a storefront.
Now that's something you don't see every day.
But, if you think about it, Jadeite had to have done it once or twice. His
youma couldn't be trusted not to draw attention to themselves. Neither can
Cobalt, for that matter, but-- Anyway, there were a few episodes of the
first season where *somebody* had to set up a store front for the Dark
Kingdom. This is a silly take on how that happened, but a good one, I
think.
Beryl was more wasteful of energy than Cobalt can afford to be. Cobalt's
doing the best she can with what she has, including a rather limited
knowledge of the outside world.
I always figured the original Generals just used some sort of illusion or
hired local workmen when they wanted something built. For instance, the
cruise ship was actually a hulk covered by an illusion if I recall
correctly. Other incidents would have had to involve the local
construction trades or their absence would have drawn attention.
