That's a pretty powerful spell to be treated so off-handedly.

   "Really?" Ranma said.  ~That would have been useful
a number of times.~
   "Tell me about it," Ranko said waving a hand.
   "Tell you about what?" Akane asked.
   "You're doing it right now," Sheila said.  "Aren't
you?"
   "Ya, an' there's this other one I learned to let ya
speak any language right," Ranko said.  She looked
confused for a moment.  "I already know Japanese,
Akane."
   Akane was about to comment something along the
lines of "just barely" when suddenly Ranko's face took
on a highly disturbed expression.  Everybody looked at
the slowly greening werecheetah as she slowly cocked
her head around to look back into the crowd.

Are werecheetahs predisposed to magic? (I really don't know. 
I do know that Kitsunes are.) So Ranko is a werecheetah, can 
read minds, and casually picks up a couple powerful spells a 
day?

   Following the line of her gaze the group saw Tirga
approaching.  Several swift connections were made,
though Ranma still looked thoroughly confused.
   For Sheila and Akane, however, it was obvious. 
Ranko was using a spell that let her read minds. 
Tirga was approaching them right now, his normal smirk
on his face.  Ranko looked vastly disturbed.
   It was highly unfortunate, for him, that Tirga was,
again, trying to use his human form to get to Ranko.

But it should be amusing. :)

   "Hey guys," Tirga said, eyes lingering on the
twitching Ranko.  "How're you..."
   "PERVERT!!!" Ranko shouted, smashing into Tirga's
face.  "EWWW!!  That's NOT what you do with whipped
cream!!!!" There was a smash as Tirga connected to the
ground.  "I HATE the smell of fish!!!  My tail does
NOT go there!!!!  EWWWW!!"

Tail!? I don't even want to think of what he may have had
in mind. *shudder*  

Besides, whipped cream and fur... don't mix.

What's that about hating fish, though? She's a werecheetah.
  

   The tavern rang with the scattered applause of
women and jealous men accompanying the sound Tirga
being firmly beaten into the ground.

Although any time Tirga gets beaten up by an outraged 
woman is cause for celebration, certainly!

Well, it's a GD fanfic which is a good thing, but having an 
airheaded Ranko who's presumably still a martial artist as 
well as a werecheetah and a natural magic user seems to be 
a little over the top. Still, Ranma/GD crossovers seem to 
work well in general, so this has potential.
