This is shorter, but still the kind of wish tipically made by D&D
players with wicked Game Masters :). My guess is Ranma would only
specify conditions ("without any magical powerups, etc.") if by the time
he makes this wish, he already has had experiences with wishes gone bad
and magical powerups. If he gets it at the start of the
manga/series/whatever, it's likely he won't think much about that. Then
again, if he was granted a divine wish at the start of the canon
storyline, he'd most probably wish his curse away...
If that meant he needed an immortal wife who could come to
love him, he'd get it. If he needed access to Yggdrasil to
learn how to some techniques, he'd get it. if he needed
someone who could survive his training trips and provide the
nutritious and delicious food, he'd get that too.
Perhaps, but this is a bit too indirect. You need quite a leap of logic
to say he needs an immortal wife who makes him delicious food in order
to become the best martial artist ever. It's a bit easier to say, for
example, that what he needs is a tour through time in order to learn
from some the greatest warriors from the past -- and face the rest in
mortal combat.
