,Genma,

You sure? He's not being addressed, so I'm not positive it's neccessary.

** I agree with you. Nothing wrong with the sentence as written.

There have been comments that disagree, so until we can figure out how
this one really works, I'm going to just rephrase that bit.

Depending on how you want it to sound, both are correct. If Happosi's
clarifing who he's talking about, then "Your father, Genma, ...." is
correct. If he's using it as a title then "Your father Genma ...." is
correct. The first sounds a little better to me, but it's all a matter
of how you want it to sound.

** The thing that bothers me a little is that you don't use the
Nichiezu-based techniques consistently in this story. He kept the Mouko
Takabisha (admittedly, a technique that is purely his) and the Hiryuu Shoten
Ha, but not the Kachuu Tenshin Amaguriken? That was his very first special
technique, and had nothing to do with Happousai or Anything Goes. Why would
he use the HSH but not the Amaguriken? Did you drop it so that Seta would
have a chance at beating him?

The KTA? I always thought that was training, not a technique. It's used

as a technique in the anime, and in some fanfics, but in the manga it's
mostly just the name of the exercise, not an actual attack. I think
Ranma's most powerful attack would be his improvised momentum tricks,
really....

Not sure. This could be a manga/anime thing. It could just be me. O_o?

Yeah, it's a manga/anime thing. The KTA was a training method to increase
arm/hand speed (and overall speed) in the Manga, it was only used as a
specific attack once, against Ryouga during the breaking point arc. In
the Anime it was a speed training as well, but it was also a "named attack"
that Ranma uses quite frequently (or at least frequently in the episodes
that I have).
