         What imposter? That's like saying that when twins trade places
(as they so often do), they're being imposters. This new Ranma is just
as much the "real" Ranma as her brother is. Only their personalities
differ.

         But then we get into the concept of identity, who is what, and
what's who. "Send in the clones" and all that rot. What makes a person?
Their DNA or their memories? And if it's the memories that make the
person, what about people who suffer from permanent amnesia?

         I suspect that Ranko's just a little stunned at first. Questions
will arise LATER. After all, if you see someone you KNOW is dead get
back up and climb off the slab, asking him how he feels about that Knicks
game last night won't be the first thing on your mind. Heh.

         Give it a little time, let's see how things develop.
