I apologize for the tone of my introduction. I was still quite annoyed when 
I wrote it. I never intended to imply that I was a better author than 
Takahashi, merely that I thought Ranma 1/2 was a work of hers which was 
poorly-written, and which I believe I could have done better. Yes, maybe 
that's arrogant, but can any of you say you've never gone to a movie, read 
a book, or seen an anime that you thought you could have done better? I'd 
hardly say that's the case, since C&C takes place, and C&C is essentially 
"here's how I think this could have been better".
I repeat: I never intended to say I was a better author than Takahashi... 
merely that I thought I could write something better than Ranma 1/2. While 
that still may be arrogant, I'm sorry, but I'm an author, and as is very 
obvious from spending time in the fanfiction community, authors are a bunch 
of screwed-up, neuroses-riddled, and touchy bunch.
So, I'm sorry that my introduction came off as arrogant or insulting, I 
honestly never intended it that way. I was just trying to clarify the 
events that led to my posting here, and in feeling bad, did so poorly.
