Greetings, all!
I was tinkering around with my piling up works of fan fiction and I realized
something: Going at it Like Rabbits!!!, part 3, is currently incomplete, at
about 145k long, of plain text.
On the other hand, Nuke 'Em 'Till They Glow!! 10-2 is incomplete at 750k,
and I've posted around 21 parts of that, and it seems to have worked out
so far. Though I don't consider it finished (I still have five scenes to go on
NETTG 10-2), the C&C from the FFML has helped considerably.
So, I was wondering about something. Readers have given different opinions
on the subject, but I wanted to know what the general opinion was: Should
I wait until I finish the entire chapter of GAILR before posting it to the
FFML
in its entirety, or should I send it bit by bit to the FFML?
There is currently enough material for, say, five posts. Commentary on the
subject would undoubtedly allow for significant improvement along the way,
though readers would have to be subject to seeing what I consider merely
a polished draft. I'd be most interested in methods of plot improvement,
since I consider myself somewhat of a novice when it comes to following
a Ranma-based plotline, having seen precious little of the series... (A
couple of episodes and a couple of manga volumes)
However, I know that there are several seasoned "professionals" in
Ranma 1/2 fanfic writing on the FFML, whose assistance would be
quite beneficial.
If I get enough responses from people that want to see it now, I'll post it,
but if not, I'll wait until it's done. Much work is still needed. What would
everyone prefer? Piecemeal and rough now, or complete and polished
later?
