Well.
As for part two, I don't believe I have any negative comment to offer.
Not that I'm really a negative person by nature, but oh well. It was a
rather nicely lifting chapter, had a nice skip over of a part that explained
itself well, and wasn't as dragging as the first. The typhoon details are
really believable, by the way.
In fact, I think I can actually relate.
Years ago, back when I was in Tokyo myself, there was a typhoon that
went through our prefecture, Bunkyo-ku. We had a potluck dinner that night,
and being from Montana and not having ever experience anything NEAR a storm
of that kind, we left to go to it.
Let's just say four broken umbrellas, a lot of soggy food, and shattered
plates was the result. Made the mistake of carrying it all in paper bags
instead of the usual cloth ones.
So much for not being yokels.
Anyway, Part III. Also very smooth, no lacking in description and
dialogue mix, and wonderfully not angsty at all. I thought it was kind of
funny when Ranko discovered that the soldier didn't have, er, quite the same
physical abilities had she did. And he ain't seen nothin' yet.
Also, cliffhangers keep me up late at night. I hate you.
Just thought I'd let you know.
Thanks bunches,
AJ Andreason
