 Hmm. Did you make her do that, or has she been able to summon ki
in the manga?

She throws a lot of bare-handed ki in Vol 12 of the manga. At least 3
different kinds of attacks against Kanako. I don't think the manga
has any indication as to when she learned to do it, though.
