Thanks for the feedback, Ed. That sense of devastation was exactly what I
was trying to recreate. It seems to have worked better for those that have
seen it first hand, but that's no surprise. Now, let's just hope I can make
a shorter job of this than I have of Comes the Cold Dragon.

Don.

Well, I've been interrupted. I gotta go do a dab of database work. Seein' as
how that's the case, I'll drop this little cliffhanger on you guys. Maybe
that'll hold ya until I can finish Part XVI of CtCD.

There are some minor errors here, Don, but for the most part
you depict the aftermath of a natural disaster to a chilling degree.
I was in Limon, Colorado after an F-5 tornado struck it with force
enough to lift entire locomotives into the air and twist steel
girders like taffy.

Your descriptions brought all that back to me. Oh, you may
have a detail or two about life in Japan that isn't quite canon
(Hi, Gary! *smirk*), but you've captured the general air of pain,
death, and desperation very well.

Reading this is a lot like watching a car go over a cliff.
You know something horrid is about to happen, but you can't turn
away from it.

I'll be reading more of this in the future, trust me.
