Prologue

Wondering, is this the next fic you'll be working on? Or will it be
more Avenging?

Funny you should ask. I started to work on the second chapter of this, which
is going to be a sort of transition for Kachi, and is coming along only
slowly and probably won't be too long in size ( I hope). I knew it would be
though, as it has to set up the flow for future chapters rather than just
going with what I want to do. Muse is telling me the much longer chapter of
Avenging might be after that. Really need to finish the first arc of that
before moving on to something else. Even caught myself looking over Should
Old Acquaitance while I was at it. At least I wasn't considering anything
new.

A pair of eyes half the scroll's age widened. An astonished smile
broadened
across Happosai's features as he read the ancient characters contained
on
the scroll. "Why, this isn't a recipe for an aphrodisiac at all. It's a
wish
scroll."

Happi + Wishing Item = Not a good thing ^_^

In general, no. Although there was one time I did have him make a good wish
once and save the world. Not often the little perv gets to be the hero. :)

potion to increase one's amorous prowess. On the spot, Happosai decided
it
was his responsibility to take such a powerful item away from one so
lascivious, lest the fat man used it on himself and unleashed his
ill-gotten
adoration on the beautiful and vast harem he owned. A bevy of the most

Hehehe

And there are times where heroism is in the eye of the beholder.

attractive women made up the composition of the harem, representing a
veritable mountain of breasts. And the panties, certainly the sheik had
spared no expense in outfitting the women in his palace of pleasure.
Even
Happosai had been hard pressed to liberate them all, but he had. That
success was one of the proudest accomplishments in his long life.

I'd bet ^_^

Nice image

Thanks.

Several drops of drool fell from Happosai's mouth and splattered on the
scroll. The sounds of the liquid hitting the parchment shook him out of
his

Would suck for Happi if the scroll got destroyed before he could make
his wish.

But then there would be no story. :P

reverie. A wish he most certainly deserved. All that was left was what
to
wish for. So much potential. So many things. He doubted he could wish
for
more wishes; that just wasn't the way these things worked. That meant he
had

At least he considered it (the wishing for more wishes part).

Most people would. It is the easiest out.

to make this single shot at eternal happiness count. What was the one
thing
he wished for more than anything else? The one thing that would be
eternally
out of his reach no matter how hard he tried?

All of a sudden, Happosai was struck by a memory of when he was young.
Of the girl who he had a chance to be in a loving relationship with,
though for some reason it never worked out.

Happosai: I've got it! I wish that Cologne will be my ever-loving wife
who will always be willing to perform her womanly duties with me.

A few seconds later....

Happosai: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Cologne: And how do you think I feel? Blech!

parchment and said, "I wish everyone else in the world were nubile young
girls with large breasts, that they had an unlimited supply of panties,
and
that they'll let a venerable old man like me grope them so that he can
enjoy
his twilight years in peace and comfort."

Hehehehe

Reminds me of one of Bader's recent fics.

Someone else said the same thing. It's not that way.

how to read the ancient symbols of power. Once satisfied he knew how to
pronounce them correctly, he invoked the spell.

"Klatuu. Barada. Necktie."

He said the words correctly!

Well, he said the correct AoD parody phrasing, which was the correct one in
this case. ^_^

Which, of course, means that something else will go horribly wrong.

Well, it all depends on your POV. For Happi, yes. For the rest of the world,
no.

"Ha cha!" Happosai exclaimed. This was it. For living the life he had,
he
was finally being rewarded the way he deserved. He could barely wait to
go
hopping about, snuggling ample bosoms and drawing the unlimited power
that
could conceivably keep him alive forever, or at least let him die the
happiest man on the planet. He could almost feel the breasts in his
grasp,

Or die of boredom from having easy access to any girl... nah.

Not Happi. No.

a white gi. The front was slightly open at the neck, 'v'ing downward and
showing the white line of an athletic bra. Sweat lined the flesh beneath
it,
and lungs that still drank deeply of the air caused the breasts to move
forward ever so slightly, giving them a slight jiggling motion
independent
of the one created by walking.

Nice description ^_^

Thanks again.

"Sweeto!" Happosai declared and leaped for the first in what would be a
long
line of women to fondle.

Happosai seems to have forgotten something....

Nope. His wish hasn't kicked in yet. Got certain procedures to go through
first.

"That's not what was supposed to happen!" Happosai declared as he flew
off
into the distance from the force of the blow.

Hehehe

And thus contrivance of the plot devices has given way to the true recipient
of the wish. :)

"If you're looking for Happosai, he already left," Akane told the being,
pointing in the direction the little pervert and flown and hoping the
weirdo

'pervert had flown'

in front of her wasn't going to cause any problems.

This is Nerima... there's no way he's _not_ going to cause any
problems.

Not true. We just don't get to meet the people that don't cause problems
because then things would be boring and not worth reading.

Akane looked around, convinced it was some sort of trick. "What's going
on

At least she didn't do what Keiichi did.

Wish for Bell to stay with her forever? Now that would be OOC, not to
mention she' s never met Belldandy. :)

Small wisps of vapor began to peel away from the genie's form and hung
in
the air. "My time on this plane of existence is short. If you do not
make
your wish within the next five minutes, it will be lost to you forever,
as
you measure time. Make your wish."

Not sure if the 'as you measure time' part is necessary.

It is to the genie's way of thinking. It helps to show how alien he is to
them.

"If you could wish for anything in the world, and I do mean anything,
what
would you wish for?"

Kasumi: That the house will never get dirty again.

Akane: Besides that.

"I have my wish!" Akane gasped. It took her a moment to figure out how
to
phrase the question so that it was simple enough to not be
misinterpreted.
Satisfied with the phrasing and unwilling to waste another second lest
she
lose this chance, Akane said, "I wish my mother had never been in a car
accident."

Unfortunately, Akane forgot to mention which one....

Yep. Which is the crux of the problem. Of course, she didn't know about an
earlier one, so it's not her fault she didn't have the complete information.

found herself in hauntingly familiar surroundings, and fearful events
would
occur just as they had in the tale of the Monkey's Paw.

"So that she can be with us today," Akane quickly added, hoping the

Heh, all that did was make the situation worse ^_^

Or at least, more interesting.

"I'm glad Mr. Mist didn't leave a stain on the ceiling," Kasumi said as
she
looked at the plaster with a careful eye.

Nice to see she's got her priorities straight.

Yes, well, Kasumi has lots of things to think about. :)

mother, to see if their memories corroborated, when the screeching sound
of
a car's tires came from the street just in front of the house. Both of
the
Tendou girls turned to the noise, eyes widening.

And there's the sign....

Yep. Need one early to catch reader interest.

at
me again, and I'll break it off and shove it so far up your butt you
won't
be able to crap right for the rest of your life!" There was the sound of

First signs of something having gone very wrong -- which is to be
expected in these situations.

Of course. I hate ones where the wish seems to have gotten off without a
hitch. Too boring.

car moving off at an accelerated speed, and then the voice said, "Yeah,
that's right! You take that piece of !@#$ car outta here before the rust
that's holding it together gives out and it falls apart! Loser!"

Mrs. Tendou sounds like a... umm... pleasant woman.

Kachi: Vibrant and vivacious. I am definitely those two 'v' words.

The speaker stopped abruptly as she entered the living room and spotted
Akane and Kasumi sitting in the middle of it.

'sitting' or 'standing'?

Hmm. Will change to standing. Next part they are sitting down.

her closely to Akane in appearance, though she could see some of Nabiki
in
the face as well. Akane's observations noted the same thing. The close
resemblance was made all the more uncanny by one simple fact:

The girl was seventeen years old.

Heh

Kachi: In the prime of life as well.

Kachinko Tendou

I misspelled this. Should have been Kachiko. No 'n' in it.

looked strangely around the room, then leveled an
accusatory
finger at the gaping girls. "All right! You two got about three seconds
to
explain what you did to my house, or else there's going to be some ass
kicking going on, and from the looks of things, you two got more than
enough
butt to last me a while!"

Hehehehe

Glad to see that the wish went awry.

Yep. Fun, fun, fun for everyone. Except Happi, since he blew his wish.

of the film industry? ^_^

Honestly, I came up with this idea long before I saw the Battle Athletes
TV
series. As soon as it hit those last few episodes, I said to myself,
"Well,

Have seen all of the OAV and some of the TV eps... need to watch the
rest someday (especially with the whole lesbian angle ^_^).

Latter episodes is where the similarites are. Not with the lesbian angle, I
assure you.

looks like I'm not the only one that thought such an idea has a great
deal
of mischievous potential." Things will not take quite the same course
obviously, but there might be a handful of similarities as well.
Hopefully

Am hoping that Kachinko doesn't end up disappearing by the end.

No spoilers.

on FFIRC a while back. It seemed to meet with favorable responses there,
so
hopefully the same will happen here.

I do recall hearing this around November or so of 2000. Glad you got
to start on this now.

Hope to see more soon!

Within a month or so. For me, that can be pretty good. Thanks for the C+C.
it's appreciated.
