Question 4: A universe needing help.

Now, who can pass up an opportunity to save a universe? ^_^

Seriously:

I need help, in a way that I'm sure most of you are probably too busy to
give. I know between LoveStruck, and this, I only occasionally have time to
C&C like I'd like to, but I need a beta editor/author to help with the parts
I lack the knowledge on. i.e. SM and AMG.

This is going to involve a lot of work, believe me. Ask Harold how
frustrating I can be, especially with turning a chapter around with edits in
less than a day for re-editing.

Just about as frustrating as working with Sam Vilsmeier, who is also
VERY fast. ^_^

Actually, if you can dedicate the time, it's immensely rewarding to work
with authors like Mr. McGill and Vilsmeier, who listen, but not slavishly,
who write good prose that needs adjustment but not total rewrites, and
who can tell a story....

I type quickly when I'm on a role, and I
can crank out a lot of wordage. But I need someone who can help, someone I
can lay out the entire plot of the story to and figure out how to make
everything hang together. Someone who's willing to go through the nearly
forty re-reads Harold had to put up with before I was ready to put the
revised prologue out.

Mr. McGill exaggerates, and I have the email paper trail to prove it. ^_^

But we did put serious work into the prologue, from minor surgery (moving
some of the story) to intense focus on the critical first paragraph, where
we both aimed at perfection. And the usual editing in between, adjustment
of the great Annoying New Character ^_^ and plot, etc.

Yes, that was just the prologue. I can be a perfectionist. I need a co who
is one too.

And I think he needs a co-*author* who can sign up for the duration; he
needs someone who he can trust to write these parts correctly, and mesh
with him. his story and prose style. I think this story is worth it.

I hope someone takes him up on his offer, this is too good to shelve.
