Hmm... was looking at this again when I went to change this part, and had a
question.  Don't Japanese normally slip on house shoes or something of the
sort, when going inside?  So which would be worse, entering with his normal
shoes on, or going barefoot?  How does that work?  Do people have extra shoes
for guests, or is it okay to have people enter the house just wearing socks?
