...and that's enough of that.  I don't know if an idea quite like that
has been done, but as far as I can tell it's an original take on the
subject.

This was oddly fun to write.  If I knew Sailor Moon at all better, I'd
probably seriously consider doing this.

I seriously think you should write it!  From the start!  :)  We need a 
change of pace from Ranma being stuck as a female and being Sailor Moon and 
Ranma ending up with one of the Senshi...
