First, I must apologize to June "Karaohki" Geraci for having trod upon
her turf without permission. She wrote a story about finding scrolls in the
attic after Happosai died back in August of 2000. Last night, I ran across
Karaohki's yarn on the FanFiction index kept by Rakahl Stormwarden at
http://www.rakhal.com/FFIndex/lstmain.html . I cannot now remember if I
read June's story before I wrote =B3The Far Island Scroll=B2 teaser or not.
Probably I did because I am a big fan of her work and I simply failed to
remember that she had written a story like this.

June, I=B9m sorry. I did not do this on purpose. I certainly did not
mean to put your plot in the public domain. I meant to put a story in the
public domain to see what might come of it, but I certainly did not intend
to run over you rough shod the way I did.

Second, for those who were wondering what on earth was going on in
this story, I was attempting to generate a fusion between Ranma 1/2 and the
Myst-Riven complex of universes. The two seem a natural to me and I thought
it might be fun to see what came of the idea. Unfortunately, I screwed this
up and now all I can do is apologize to everyone that might be fooling
around with the idea of doing a yarn based on this. It wasn=B9t really mine t=
o
give away. You=B9ll have to ask June first.
