Are you sure you wouldn't want to try your hand at a "Finnegans Wake" fic?
Four years ago, after a challenge was issued, I wrote "Finnegans Half"
(which you can find at http://www.eclipse.net/~rms/rfh.html).  Fortunately
for your patience, it's very brief...
