Looking over a brief one:
Those letters spelled out, 'Nancy Makuhari'.
Oh ho. When I saw the girl was reading, I was going to make an ROD!
reference, but thought it tacky.
Um, thanks, I think. ;)
But there was no reason to keep the paper anymore. Its purpose was
served, and the words she didn't care for outweighed the ones she did
care for.
Can drop the second 'care for'
Will do.
Perhaps... perhaps she'd simply go for a walk, then. There was time
enough to read later, after all.
Heh. Now we know this isn't Yomiko. That word doesn't exist in her
vocabulary.
What word?
"Ah! Sorry, Joker-san! We, ah, we found out that you were right --
she was better with paperwork than we thought,"
Heh
Well, duh. :p
"That she's a meta?"
As long she isn't I-Jin. :)
Though....
"She, ah, she was able to withstand large amounts of physical
trauma, and, um, speak with animals."
Dr. Hulk Doolittle?
...no.
Prolly Love Hina reference. Should get to see the rest of that over the
course of next week.
The manga's quite a bit better.
"She was known to have been in contact with the, um, entities known
as the Fixer and the Fox,"
Now these I can guess from the first 5 eps
Yes. :p
Notes: Love Hina was created by Ken Akamatsu and Read or Die was
created by Kurata Hideyuki.
There was an idea I had for an ROD! fic. But I've got enough on my table I
don't need to be picking up where it left off. Love that series, though.
Ought to search for some fanfics on it. Didn't get the LH reference as much
since I know so little of it, though I figured out what was what.
Coolness. Thought RoD was great, myself -- though I wish the US pres had
a little more spine. :/
Cute.
Thanks! And thanks for C&Cing. ;)
