Besides some minor formatting problems (which somebody
else already mentioned), I noticed that you decided not to
suggest that Ranma was illiterate in one of the Japanese
writing forms this time through. As this change had little or
no impact on the story itself, I find that I must approve of the
removal as it had apparently been an extrenious plot
complication. The other way of handling it would have required
lengthening the story somewhat to take better account of
the reprecussions of the partial illiteracy.

Still, even if Ranma and Akane don't want to know what
happened to Ranma, I can't help picturing some of the others
occasionally making side trips to the zoo to gossip about
how well Ranma and Akane are doing. The fact that the
gossipers would "just happen" to be doing this within earshot
of the panda exhibit would just be "pure chance" of course...

Perhaps a short follow-up chapter? Possibly dealing with
the reactions of, oh say, Happosai? Even if the old letch
is rather cavelier about Ranma's life, he would never
condone the murder of Akane. Or, more to the point for
him, I doubt that he'd appreciate that he was used as
Genma's excuse, nor that he was 'used' himself. Not
that Happosai would have objected to making Ranma's
life difficult, but Ranma *was* the potential hier that
neither Soun nor Genma were fit to be in his eyes. That,
and the fact that Genma played *him*, of all people,
would possibly make Happosai revise his relationship
with the current hiers to the Anything Goes School.

Or, maybe something dealing with Soun's reaction to all
of this? He was pretty much left out of most of this until
the very end. What will his reaction be when he discovers
that Genma had been planning to kill off one of his
daughters and make the life of one of the others misserable?
Given past examples from when one of his daughters was
threatened, Genma should consider himself lucky to be
safely out of reach behind the bars of a zoo...

That, and a sequil could have lots of fun following the
emerging friendship and possible budding romance
between Ukyo and Ryoga. Further, the romantic
comedy between Konatsu, Shampoo, and Mousse
would make for a wonderful backdrop to any or
all of these!
