So, I decided to write a serious version of the idea, instead of the
silly one that started the thread.  This was the result.  A horrible

old

woman of Hanzel and Grettle type personality gets a wish.  ^_^;

I know this was only a spamfic, but I have questions. Why would the

Almighty

approve such a wish? In fact, how could she be placed in a situation

where

the wish might become dangerous?

*shrugs*

Same thought process that ends up with him thinking that Nodoka deserves a
wish, probably.  Or Ranma, or Akane, or any of the Nerima crew.  As I
said, it was a reponse to that tendency in fanfics.  It's cute when done
once in a while, but considering that in the entire manga, we only see one
person getting a wish, and that's Keiichi, well, it would seem like
getting a wish isn't the easiest thing in the world to do.  Plus, a lot of
the wishes that tend to get approved in fics are rather extreme in being
unlikely as well.  So this fic fits both those cliches; a person who would
really not be deserving of a wish getting one, and a wish that probably
wouldn't be granted being so.

This fic just went a bit further than usual in both respects.

And for the death thing... well, it's not permanent.  Plus, there was one
point in the manga where Belldandy almost 'died', iirc, and then said
later that she would simply have lost her body for a while because she was
out of the energy required to maintain it, or something along those lines.
So it's quite possible that they can't die in any normal way, or can only
be killed by a god or demon or something along those lines.  It's hard to
say.  Since I specified that she does return every day, however, it should
be clear that she isn't in any real mortal danger, although she's
certainly not going to be at all happy with her situation.
