try to like men. Some of them even get married, and then one day they wake
up and realize they've been fooling themselves for years."

The problem of course is that Ranma strongly believes that being a lesbian
is wrong. He'd react with a strenuous denial to the idea that he's a lesbian.
He isn't one. He's a man trapped in a woman's body. And he'd probably try
to talk Haruka into being heterosexual regardless of the irrationality of the
effort.

to you?"

Subtle poke at a certain Lawson fic, eh?

I kinda agree with you, though. The manga shows Ranma has a very straight
and masculine self-image, which is why I could never really understand
"Outward Part". I just don't see him going for guys.

He doesn't, in "Outward Part". The sex is and will always be less than
satisfactory for him in that series. But shoot, there are people who go
through all their lives and never get satisfactory sex. One of the reasons
why it is so difficult to define the number of homosexual individuals in
the world is because it is virtually impossible to determine how many
people are prepared to spite their own desires.

The question I have for "Outward Role", is why is Haruka so certain that
Ranma can't swing both ways?
