in more than one accident. When Akane said 'never' that meant negating

the

first one she was in, back when she was 17. This actually holds more
importance than merely Akane not getting quite what she wanted, as will
quickly become evident later.

Well, not only that, but it brings to mind this simple question.  How did
Kasumi, Nabiki, and Akane get born if their Mother was transported into the
future, several years before she gets pregnant with them?  I'm guessing that
she's going to have to go back into the past so that Kasumi, Nabiki, and
Akane get born, but this Kachinko could also be simply a copy of the
original.  Of course, DB could always get into the generic Star Trek plot,
where all of reality starts to fall apart.  Especially since this is a
reverse Grandfather paradox.  Where instead of a child going back in time to
kill their parents or grandparents, Akane just sent her mother into the
future, before Kachinko even gets married, not to mention pregnant.
