Ooh. Process of Elimination...

Or, from my point of view, Process of Deliniation. Hey, I guess that
makes me a PoD person!

Additional tinting provided by: Takada Yuuzou, and Kodansha (3x3

Eyes), Takada Yuuzou, and A.D.Vision (Bannou Bunka Nekomusume
Nuku-Nuku), and of course, Tatsuya Egawa (Goldenboy). The easel is
mine.
That's all.

Unfortunately, those tints have been found to cause DEATH in lab rats!!!!

I thought that we bought your silence!

Well, when over 5000 pounds were directly injected into their eyes...

Our lawyers assure us that no humans have lodged formal complaints
after experiencing this same process.

Herb found it impossible to tear his eyes from her, until she
looked
up, smiling wanly at him. "Move," she whispered.

Hmm... and I was thinking you were going to set up Herb with Ryouko...

Ryouko's latched onto someone else. Though that's an interesting
thought in its own right....

The rebels stood their ground, refusing to give to the edict that
had been given from Serenity, but she would never think of
countermanding the orders she were given. All had to obey, and those
who would not obey would be silenced.

Hmm...

I get the feeling that the flashback doesn't add anything to the
story, and I should drop it.

Grinning, she charged into the fray, the hot metal of her blade
forcing ceramic armor to char and shatter, cleaving easily through
it and reducing the defender to ash instantly.

Heh. That was _almost_ a description of one of the battles from the
Shades of Gray backstory. Almost, but not quite...

Well, I'm paraphrasing. I took a class taught by you in 2034, and my
thesis was on Shades of Gray. 'course, I'm not supposed to talk about
the time travel....

"Oh," Minako said, relieved, carefully putting her hands on the
boy's shoulder. "I thought you were dead. But there's something I need
to tell you," she pressed, remembering, and afraid that another chance
might not happen. "You're not wearing a shirt. I like that."

.........

    Well, it _is_ Minako.

Her words were cut off, as a black mass, moving so swiftly that it
was only glanced for a moment shot upwards, a stray limb or claw
shearing one of the Musk in half before it vanished. The other Musk
warriors turned to the Amazons, who wasted no time, quickly fleeing in
the direction of the village. No sooner than they had moved, another
pair of reavers burst upwards, rocketing into the sky and vanishing
>from sight.

This can't be good...

Bah. You always say that. It's great, I tell you!

    Just... well... for the reavers.

[End, Process of Elimination Chapter Thirteen, Part One]

REAVERS... IN... SPAAAAAAAAAAAACE.....Aaace...aaace!!!!!!!

Woah. Muppet show flashback. Ah... what a great show that was.

In the spirit of these bold reavers, going where no ultimate killing
machine has gone before, I too shall voyage onward, to the aptly named
Part Two of this chapter........... AND BEYOND!!!!!!!!!!!

The 'beyond' part is going to be a bit tricky, methinks.

"I've read how to do it," Kintaro said confidently. "I know that
ship almost as well as I know my bicycle. What could possibly go
wrong?"

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. "What could possibly go
wrong?" is one of the few questions that can truly be called stupid...
because the universe always feels you deserve an answer.

Oe's one of the very few that could get away with saying it.

"Only about a day," Washuu answered mournfully. "They're smaller and
weaker initially, but it doesn't take them long to gain more mass, even
though they'll be softer than their normal counterparts. They'll breed
at an exponential rate. In a matter of weeks they'll overrun the
planet."

I thought I remembered something about that...

Oh well. It was nice knowing you, Earth.

Earth: Ungreatful brats, all of you.

Mamoru: Wait, I am the Earth, and I feel its pain, so... CRAP!

Earth: I'm not going down alone.

"Great," Ranma grumbled. "I guess someone thinks that the job
isn't hard enough yet."

And his name is Brian Randall. ;)

Well, let's just be sure to keep him out of Ranma's reach. I imagine
he would work the guy over pretty badly....

Herb nodded, rising higher, to see over a nearby lodge, and pointed
at a familiar peak. "That mountain," she said. "It is said that atop its
peak, a race of phoenix warriors dwell."

...

I knew it was coming, but still... this will be very messy.

I _like_ messy. I thrive on the long scenes of endless violence.
It's a vent, I guess. Though now I have to wonder if it's healthy or not....

"Nothing I'd worry about," Ranma said dismissively.

Washuu: That's not what I asked.

Ranma: Say, look at the time....

battle, Norris, there will be proportionately more of them, and
we've used the one shot that the Halcyon array has left already."

"...the Halycon array had..." </real comment>

    Gotcha.

She disengaged her hand from Kura-Wan's shirt, and said, "My father
is the Jusenkyou guide. He sent me to look for Ranma, because Ranma
knows about the springs from the pantyhose monster." She nodded
knowingly, then added, "The springs of Jusenkyou dried up, and father
said that he would investigate, but I needed to get Ranma, because
someone stole his secret map."

...

Plum: Of course, the map led to a burger joint around the cliff, but
who wants to go to JusenkyouBurger, where their motto is, "It doesn't
matter what it was, it's beef _now_!"

"She must be delusional," Kura-Wan suggested, frowning. "Probably
hasn't eaten in days -- our spear-sisters retrieved water from
Jusenkyou just yesterday, Elder."

Or in other words, Saffron'stransformation is already done, I suppose.

    Could be.

Kiima blinked, and bowed her head again. "As you wish," she
replied quietly.

Most curious...

And once again, some of your scenes continue to be dangerously parallel
to bits of one my fics- the Ranma/SM crossover this time.

Oh well, evil-twin. ;)

Yeah, this time I used my psychic powers to steal the ideas
right out of your head. Gotta refine what evil I've got left, Evil Twin. ^_^

Which I think is kinda cool....

Reaver... PLUSHIES?!!! They must be mine!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Heh. Well, let's hope, then. :p
