Wrong on two counts, or just the one?
You know, I'm starting to think that Daredevil is paranoid. After all,
if Ukyo was really getting aroused, he'd be able to smell it.
As admitted before, I'm playing loose here on his senses concerning Ukyou.
Leap in heart rate occurred before the smell of her getting wet anywhere hit
him. :) Since so many people are pointing this out, I'll go ahead and let
them know it's not going to last much longer.
"No, I'm a Musk. It says so right on my passport." Mint pulled it out
and
showed him.
Bah. REAL villains don't have passports.
REAL villains have diplomatic immunity.
Nah. Only leaders of their own countries, like Dr. Doom have that.
I thought sai had rounded ends that weren't sharpened.
That is true of real sai. It is not true of Elektra's sai which
are designed more for cool appearance than authenticity.
Heh. Yep. Elektra's were designed for killing (blame Miller, not me this
time) She stabbed lots people them them, even ending up with her own sai
driven through her gut courtesy of Bullseye.
"Bah!" the Goddess of Thunder snorted. "The next thing thou wilt claim
is
that there really are Stone Men from Saturn. All know there are not
such
things as beings from outer space."
Is this another reference?
The first opponents the comic book Thor fought were an invasion of
"Stone Men from Saturn".
Yep. It's mentioned in Chapter 1 that Akane ran into them when she found the
hammer in Sweden. She, however, is convinced they were merely animated
statues that were deluded and only believed they from some Saturn.
Technially she's right in that they weren't from Saturn, but from some other
system. It was later revealed around Thor 257 or so that the Stone Men were
using Saturn as a gathering point to launch their forward units to Earth,
but Thor drove them back and made them cancel their invasion plans.
A swelling what?
A swelling part of the top of her head. There's nothing wrong with
that.
Yep. It's used as a noun in this case.
Heh! But I thought the name of that song was 'Ja Ja Uma ni
Sasenaide'.
He gets more reader recognition by quoting the first line.
Well, I should have reworded the line to read ,
-- In answer, the words, "Yappa pan, yappa pan, ish a ten" began blaring out
over her speakers.--
I think that should work.
