Due to recent events, I'm canceling my original project, Bossa For
Sakurajima. The reason is that the eponymous jazz bar in Kagoshima of
the same name has burned down in a fire, killing three people, one of
which was my contact for updated Kagoshima information.  Eriko and I
weren't close, but she was a longtime fan of my works and I don't think
it's right to continue the series (she was the inspiration for the
character Breeze) without her.  As I read the notification email that a
friend of hers has sent, I can't help but think that a good part of me
has been lost, not just because of the end of the story, but more so
that another life of someone that had so much to live for and look
forward to has been snuffed out, like a guttering candle flame from a
cruel breeze. 

Starting the Spring update, the site and story are being taken down and
put into inactive status.  The timing, I must admit, is a little ironic,
as it comes on the heels that the intended BFS radio play is being
cancelled due to lack of interest.  Perhaps that was an omen, I do not
know and don't wish to dwell on that.

This is the first time I have actually cancelled a project in action,
and I apologize for the inconvenience.  I hope that the next original
project I'm working on will make up for it.
