The five files I'm about to send constitue the Mason arc of my first major
fanfiction work, Bubblegum Disaster. It represents the essences of ideas
and plotlines that I've been working on from time to time since about 1994,
when I first heard of BGC, combined with a slew of more recent ones, and
only now written because until recently I felt my skills were not up to the
level of qulity needed for release to more than a few friends. I realise of
course that there is far more poorly written fiction than otheriwse on the
net, but... I don't want to read it. Why should I expect anyone to read
mine, if it is not up to my own standards of technical quality? Further, I
hate unfinished stories, and so held off on a wider release of this until
I'd finfished the first major arc, though there are plenty of unresolved
issues, and I have not only some of the remaining events of the original
OAVs to cover (those that are initiated external to the Sabers, and
therefore are not significantly changed by the changes to the universe) and
two fomre seasons after finishing with them, each seperated by a 'movie' in
a more traditional crossover cast style, rather than the fusion of elements
from other shows found here.
This project also represents the most I've ever written on a single
subject, the previous title holder being a short-lived series on the
Superguy group titled _The Adventures of Spice Girl and (Undefined)_, which
was perhaps a third, at most, of the current size of Bubblegum Disaster,
and far less than that in terms of quality.
Like all other internewt authors, i invite the harshest criticism anyone
cars to bring to bear, so long as you make no personal attacks - flamers
will simply be deleted, but anything else is welcome, that I may further
improve my skill. This can be considered a beta release of the story in
that I expect some problems to be there that I've missed, and to fix them,
but the major elements are unlikely to be changed as I have later events
hanging on many of them. If you'd like to be in on the alpha/draft stage, I

write and revise them, rather than as each arc is complete as they will be
posted here. I also plan on doing a bit of a contest at some point, once I
have made a proper website for the series, with a couple of (pencil and
paper) RPGs for prizes, but haven't even settled on rules for that yet, so
don't hold your breath just yet.
Finally, my writing speed is slow, perhaps 15-20k on a good week. The
shortest chapter I have written in this project is Chapter 2EX, at 36Kb,
and they keep getting bigger, so don't expect a weekly update or anything.
The chapter numbering sceme is odd, because I felt like doing it oddly, but
as long as you save them with something like the reccommended filenames
they'll list in order when sorted by name, so it's no big thing.
