John woke up suddenly. Something had changed, but he wasn't quite sure

what.

It might have had to do he was now two-dimensional and everything was in
black and white.

Well, he's probably been to a few of the vodka promotions. Weird stuff
happens after you've had half a bottle :)

Suddenly there was a light, as that roof was suddenly removed. Above him

was

the
face of his dreams. Akane was looking down at him!.

For a moment

he was struck dumb, then he tried to reach out to her, to say something.

But

only
a gentle burp came out. Reaching out worked better, but Akane only

frowned,

as she
reached down with a wooden spoon and pressed his arms and head back down
again.

He's food?

Heh...

Finally John recognised what had happened to him! He'd been reincarnated

as

some
sort of food monster! Desperately he lunged for freedom, but to no

avail.

His
goddess was well prepared from that, grabbing a food tenderising mallet

and

whacking
him, bringing the darkness back...

Heh. A fanfic cliche, but since this is an SI, it doesn't make a

difference.

Very silly, but then again the whole fic is :)

A while later, awareness slowly filtered back, just in time to hear

Akane's

voice
saying "Carrot Surprise! Eat up."

Things had changed again. Now he was
lying on a plate with a fork stuck in him. Pain radiated through his
gelatinous
body making it hard to think, but he could see not only Akane, but Ranma
too, in
girl form.

So they're going to eat him after all. And here I thought he wasn't going

to

get his wish. :)

I'm a kind author...

Both she and Akane were even more beautiful in real life than

they were
on the printed page,

Especially since they weren't two dimensional anymore.

Akane's glare sealed Johns fate with an awful finality as Ranma's mouth
closed about
him and the final darkness fell.

He had finally got his wish. He could ask to be no closer to Ranma than
this...

Until he's processed and comes back out. :)

Wait for the sequel!. The further adventures of John...
