It's that time again, folks. Otakon is only five months away, so
naturally everyone should know by now whether they'll be there or
not. (This is, after all, the con where you have to book the hotel
BEFORE it's announced or else it sells out).

And, as with all Otakons, there will be a fanfic panel. It will be
moderated by Neal Leyendecker, and will have on it five brilliant,
witty, sexy, and talkative author-type people! One of which could
be YOU!

Please please please email me at sean@thekeep.org if you want to
be a panelist. Why? Because we want fresh blood. Because we need
new faces. Because Lara and I have insisted that we will *not* be
doing this *again*.

What do you get? You get the privelege of being an Otakon panelist!
Isn't that enough? No? Ingrates. All right, you also get into
the con FREE FREE FREE (or if you've already pre-registered, you get
your money refunded refunded refunded). How's that for a deal?

There are, of course, a few ground rules, as with all such things.

1) Please email me PRIVATELY at the address above. Replies to the
FFML will lead to deletion. In your email, please let me know your
real name (I need it for the people running the con), your nickname
if applicable, how long you've been writing, and the webpage where
I can find your fanfics. If you have no webpage, please let me know
where your fanfics are archived.

2) You must have written a story within the past year of the con
(i.e. since July). This helps keep the panel fresh and vibrant.

3) You must be an anime writer. This does not preclude you for
writing for things such as Buffy or Harry Potter, of course, but
at least one of your fanfics must be anime-related.

Operators are standing by! Call now! This offer not good after
July 28, 2002. Do not taunt Happy Fun Otakon.
