Yes, an ArbyFish does have that effect on things...

I keep wondering how the hell you managed to get stuff there and not
collapse the
very structure of their reality with such Cthonic prose as this.

I have a very careful editor. ^_^

Fortunately, Sanity
is something most on this list have long since left behind, but verily it
would be a
true shame to have those that stumble upon such works in El-Hazard
unawares
and go
 quite mad.

Which is worse? To cause others to go mad, or to go mad oneself?

 Pop-corn? ^_^

In-deed!

The problem with Sailor Moon anime is that there is too much Sailor Moon
and
not
enough Sailor V or the scouts. I'm quite glad you've done what you've
stated you did
 below.

I have to research these things to get an idea of what I can and shouldn't do
with a particular series. If I can't get enough info, I typically ditch the
plot.
In GAILR, for example, I had to ditch a Nurse Angel Ririka subplot because
I couldn't get enough info on it, nor anyone that could reply quickly enough
to
be of use in that particular manner. So I'm taking that part of the project,
lock,
stock, and barrel over to Cardcaptor Sakura.

Kaito Ace. I also hear it's a fairly well done story, but what I know of
it
is from
osmosis from some scanty resources and fics on the net. It looks like you'
ve got the
best info to be expected, and I don't think anyone can honestly hold it
against you
if you miss something here and there.

Good! Then all I have to worry about is internal consistency...

Unlike watching Mystic Gohan going Super Saiyan in Dragon Ball GT, but
what
would a
pathetic fanboy like me know? ^_^

I still need to see something where Usagi goes Super Sayajin... Ranma's done
that in a number of things...

Makes you wonder what would happen with a character replacement 'fic,
replacing
Gohan with Usagi... Talk about contrast!

The scary thing is that, in the earlier years, a Gohan/Chibiusa replacement
might not bring about much change at all...

 > Either way, what bliss!

Heh, and on that note, might I first appologize for any distinct lacking
of
anything
remotely resembling C&C on NETTG. I've been following the series for
quite
some time
now and this will be the first time I've done this for the story...though
this is the
side story, so I guess I'm not off the hook completely am I? ^_^

Better later than never. I'm always happy to see people that have enjoyed my
works coming out of the woodwork and at least saying, "Good job!" Even if
that's
the entire message, it lets me know a lot of things, like the fact that my
story
has been read, and moreover ENJOYED!!!

I LOVE full-story reviews, though NETTG is getting kind of big for that (but
DB
Sommer is STILL making progress! ^_^). For this, I thank you!

GAAAHHH!!! Warn people before you do that! We need to get out the insulin
first! ^_^

If I warned you, that would give you time to defend yourself. As it stands, I
need
to roll in the grenades and come in firing.

Goooooo Greeeeennnn Raaannggerrr, GO! err...okay, I'll stop now.

A couple of those series were actually halfway decent, like Zeo and Space...

At least it wasn't August 9th of 2005. I don't think the Senshi are up to
handling Unicron.

I am unfamiliar with that reference...

You know, London gets destroyed nearly as often as Tokyo and New York.
You'
d think
they'd invest in things like anti invasion ultimate nullifiers and Super
Saiyan
 merceneries.

But then the construction companies would go belly-up!

Course the original Green Lantern is now the Spectre...too bad they
revamped
him into
a spirit of salvation rather than revenge...I rather enjoyed the ironic
torments he
inflicted upon the masses. Whatever happened to a good ol fasioned
antihero
rampage?

Well, Spawn's still operating, last time I heard...

However, I'm sure it makes perfect sense to the invaders...or does it? ^_^

Maybe they just like blowing things up.

Sounds more like Goku there....oh wait, you killed him. My bad. ^_^

ArbyFish: Darn roight! Oye blew 'em up roight noicely, Oye did!

Seriously
though...well maybe not...but anyway, if one were to go that far, might as
well start
asking about the human Z fighters or maybe some of the Ranma 1/2 side
characters,
like Ryouga or Mousee. Still, if one were to whip out THE LIST of people
to
call, by
the time they found someone, the whole city'd probably been turned into
prime
 breeding ground for mushrooms.

I figured that I'd limit it to three well-known super sorts of heroes. Yeah,
Ranma's
not on Superman's level (unless 99.9999% of fanfic writers are to be believed
^_-),
but I thought the popularity level merited at least a mention.

On that note, why did you do that to poor Pluto? Hasn't that buxom green
haired molestable lass suffered enough? ^_-

I believe I was one of the principal pioneers in Pluto-bashing. Before me and
a few others, it was generally assumed that she was invincible. Nowadays,
any fic with Pluto actually managing to keep her cool is worthy of note. ^_^

Besides, pairing ASK with Sailor Pluto was too obvious. ^_-

 You tell em!

 My she's flexable.

It probably helps a great deal with things concerning fashion, mostly
involving squeezing into and escaping the most stylish outfits.

Still, the ship deserves applause for doing that. ^_^

Nothing helps build characterization better than letting one's characters get
beaten on a little bit. ^_^

A problem that I discussed with Morgan Hudson, and I'm sure several others
have noted
about the Senshi is that the creative uses of their powers are largely
untapped. I
mean, can you imagine what Venus' command of light could really do if she
put her
mind to it? Or Mercury...shit, she could probably pull off much of the
same
things
Iceman of the X-men could do. To see S simply play Spiderman here is
quite
nice.

Yes, someone with that sort of power could get quite creative with it. The
only
problem in the anime is lack of screen time and lack of a budget to invent new
attacks every episode. Fanfics are open season, though. ^_^

 Heh Heh Heh.

Stylin' started this series kind of puffed up and theoretically invincible. I
have
to show that she's REALLY not that experienced yet, though she continues
thinking and acting confidently.

There is currently a surplus of confident and actually competent characters
right now. I figure I'll try for a little supply and demand now and again.

 > "Being handled like this is WAAAY out of style!" Stylin'

Spring loaded, but child safe! Available at a Bay Kee nearest you!

I forgot to ask what sort of setup people want Stylin' to have, whether it be
a hyper-powered ultra-stylin' base-house with a main computer that caters
to her needs (paid for on her daddy's credit card), or whether she should have
a simpler sort of home... What do you think?

 > "That's how my daddy taught me to deal with evil nasties like
 > you!" Sailor Stylin' proclaimed, shaking a fist up at the monster.

I wanna know who her daddy is. Batman? Wolverine? Kenshiro? Ash from
Evil Dead? Ash from Pokemon? ^_^

He's one of the main characters from NETTG. Can't have it be a NETTG spinoff
without some relation to a key new character there. ^_^

Should I add that in? ^_^

How do they jump with those high heels? How the hell do they do that?!
And
how do
they keep the panty shots from happening?! How damnit, how?!

It's maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagic!

And near as I can tell, Minako can leap from the ground to the second story
of a building with slight effort WITHOUT having to use any Sailor V(enus)
powers.
She can also handle drops from 4+-story-building roofs with barely an
afterthought,
it seems...

 > "Mina-san!" Stylin' exclaimed, throwing her arms around her

Yuri doujin will soon be made of this, weather you like it or not. ^_-

Not all close partnerships of the same gender have to end in lemons, you
know. ^_^

Hmmm...

"But Haruka, I just want to be friends!"

"..........................Michiru!? Why? Things were going so well!" ^_^

Then Haruka gets bitter and goes to live at the Hinata Inn...

You know, two sets of those awesome legs would be more than most fanboys
could
handle, let alone a cosmic menace or two. After all...you cannot RESIST
the
power of
the legs...cause they know...how to use them!

...

Don't groan! It wasn't that bad, was it?

Well, they've got several more sets back in Tokyo, which are of equal or
greater
quality, you know. I mean, if you WANT to judge power of the legs, then
perhaps
Sailor Pluto and.... Nah, I won't go into that. ^_^;;;;;;;;;;;;

How do you adjust something that's magically stuck to your head? ^^

Very carefully. Wouldn't want it to fall off.

It can be removed. ^_^

 Vegita then?

Close, but not quite.

If it's not the giant lizards or super powered mutants it's the space
aliens
always
attacking the place. Never a dull moment in that town, no sir.

^_^ Quite!

Of course it's the shadow guy. I mean, you'd never expect it to be that
adorably cute kid with the physics books orchestrating all the madness...

I loved that scene from MiB. ^_^

 > "Alrighty, then!" V replied enthusiastically, slapping a fist

And hope it doesn't piss him off. ^_^

And the fact he even thought of this at all should have them wringing his
neck for
further information on things that "might happen." heh.

Should I add that in? I could do that. ^_^

 > Stylin' nodded. "The name's in vogue, so Sailor S it is!"

God help her if she gains a super form, and they start calling her Super
S. ^
^;;;;;

Don't tempt me.

...

On the other hand, it'd help to heap on the sugar... ^_^

 > "Right. S," the blonde continued, pointing out the window

 Missing a " before Do.

Oh! Right.

 > In a puff of magical dust, a short sword with an elegant

I seem to remember something about this sword. Something like Minako gave
it to
Makoto or vice versa...it was vauge. I'm probably wrong on that. Not
like

I think it's in the manga somewhere. I've no clue what it can do, but the
thumbnail
said "Venus's Crystal Wink Sword," so I figured, hey, why not toss that in?
^_^

we ever
saw the sword again....can't have a senshi have something that makes her
even
remotely different from any of the others, and thus putting her at the
possible spot
light where Usagi must be all the fucking time...even Ami's computer was
downplayed!

Wretched, isn't it?

 *huff, huff*

Okay, so I'm a bit bitter on the subject of the Senshi's lack of screen
time.
 ^^;;;

There's only so much one can cram into a half-hour episode. If they had been
hour-long episodes, THEN there would have been some more to toy around
with that. ^_^

 > "Artemis!" V nearly shouted at her beloved pet, putting her

 22. If my magical animal sidekick has any
weapons/powerups/useful magical devices, I will insist upon
getting them immediately, and not wait until my enemies are
 stronger than me.

But that's plainly impossible, since magical girls never think quite THAT far
ahead. ^_^

 http://www.angelfire.com/anime/Slacker/girl.txt Minako and the rest
really
need to
 study this hard. ^_^

Ah, Slacker's stuff! I like that guy's style. Though, it reminds me of someone
else's for some reason... I can't remember whose. Oh well! ^_^

You know, that just scares the living hell out of me. Giving a girl like
that pointy
objects...that really frightens me. Good job.

And having her run around, waving it wildly while smiling and giving fashion
tips.

Evil doesn't stand a chance. ^_^

It'd been really funny if it was a cheap knockoff. ^_^

I'm trying to keep the humor to a moderate level so that it won't completely
obscure the storyline this time. ^_^

Though I do have an assault on Hogwarts on the storyboards...

Just out of curiosity, do you write to music? If so, what was this part
written to, if any?

Yes.

I wrote it after playing through Megaman X's first game's first scene.

 But when isn't it?

True. ^_^

aircraft? That seems to imply a smaller size than something from ID 4.
Course,
that's just a stylistic point, so feel free to ignore.

Well, it's not quite as big as ID4... I'll replace it with platform.

 > It would have been nice to see some British fighter aircraft

Of course using aircraft twice this soon is kinda bad form too.

True...

Yeah! Big pretty explosions is whats we like to see! ^_^

Reminds me of a comment I heard concerning the Godzilla movie. There
were several inconsistencies, but the special effects were good:
"Give ticket. Me want destruction. Loud explosions good for soul. Mmmm,
braindead good..." ^_^

I must have missed who her father was, cause you're dropping hints like
either we
should know, or that you want to mess with us considering who it might be.

At this
point, I've got a good idea, but I never assume...cause we all know what
people do
 when they assume. ^_-

It's pretty blatant. ASK is technically her dad. Though he's not aware of it.

More grenades. Gotta come in firing. ^_^

 Actually, that's pretty universal.

True, but it sounds better when explained that way. ^_^

Heh, Mirai Trunks, eat your heart out.

Stylin's pretty good with a sword. The magical equivalent of a genetic memory,
y'know. Her daddy's not half bad...

She'd be a crack shot with a gun if she didn't hate those things! ^_^

 > Before it left, Stylin' slashed a stylized 'S' into the back of

He can't learn if he's dead girl. ^^

She doesn't think that far ahead, usually.

 > repressed a giggle. "I LOVE rhyming!"

So did Wheelie, the Autobot. Keep in mind, the first thing that the
author
at botcon did was blow him up, so be on your guard girl. ^_-

I've got a few endings in mind for the series when it ceases to be
interesting.
One is tragic, the other is wacky. ^_^

<Sailor S> You know, Kain had style when he drank blood. That psionic
sucking thing he did was awesome. What you're doing is so middle ages!

I like that line. I added it in.

 *silence*

DUNT DUNT DUNT! *que final boss music*

If you want the real music I had in mind, you'd have to play the opening
sequence to Megaman X... ^_^

What color hide? You describe everything else so well, I just have to
ask,
heh.

Oh, sorry! It's black.

 Don't bring a sword to a Z fight. It never helps. ^_^

Worked for Trunks against Frieza...

<Sailor S> Fuck. Oh wait...is saying that in style?

Well, S's got this weird moral code. I've no idea where she got it from,
though...

That's what most don't get. It's not the voltage that generally kills a
person when
talking about electricity. It's the current. A very small amount of
current will
kill anyone. Voltage on the other hand cooks you, and that can take
awhile.
 In
order for voltage to kill you outright, it has to be an insanely high
amount.
..enough
 to flash fry you.

Yup! I don't have any personal experience with that, but that's what I've
gathered.

Good thing she's not a normal human right now. Like that poor English
girl
who's likely getting ravished by the Wolfman at this point. ^^

Well, the opposition has an army and air-support.

S and V have long legs, miniskirts, and a cat, so I guess that sort of evens
it out.

...^_^

That's why they're saving everyone by taking out the big, shadowy guy before
that charming English girl actually does have to endure such a thing.

...

Besides, they're probably caught up in foreplay. That'll give 'em some time.

 > "You worthless little being," it whispered in a low, grating

<Sailor S> Stock villain dialouge! How come that never goes out of style?

Too bad most of her muscles are out of commission for the time being... ^_^

 > A beam of solid golden light shot out of the fog and cut into
 > Nausteemaun's arm, severing it from his body and blasting him back

You know, if you rearrange the wording a bit, you could have gotten in a
cute joke
about her dubb attack name, and what happens when it hits something, if
you
haven't already used that once before. ^_^

Well, I figure that there's a dramatic enough moment that it doesn't need to
be
interrupted with my ramblings. ^_^

 > Sailor V rushed out of the fog and placed herself between the

Hey, she got that quote right! ^_^

Should I change that so it's misquoting something? If so, what? I couldn't
think
of anything appropriate...

 > "SMASH!" V finished in a dramatic manner, firing off another
 > laser beam at her enemy.

Heh, Lord help all the evil nasty's if she watches Piccolo perform one of
his beam
cannons (Masenko Seppu). Imagine if V learned something like that with
her
powers of
 light?

"VENUS CRESCENT BEAM CANNON, FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Maybe that's her Eternal-level attack... ^_^

 > Its image blurring, the beast leapt up into the red, glowing
 > section of the UFO, barely avoiding the beam and disappearing

Gets his arm blown off and he retreat?! What a pathetic villain! ^_-

Well, since this is just the beginning of the series, it probably wouldn't
do to have the villains be TOO powerful just yet...

 > Looking around, V gave a shrug. "Eh. It was worse after last

 >
 > "It sure was brave of you to try and take on that guy by

Though...tha'ts kinda what they set her to do in the first place...heh.

True, but a compliment is a compliment, wherever it is placed.

 > V held up her hand in a gesture of refusal. "Naah, keep it."

 Nah, she's got that whip...errr...chain. ^_^

Hmmm... Should she have that yet? ^_^

 > Artemis nodded. "Yeah, I guess that'll be okay. Just don't

Or around with it...unsheathed...in public...waving it all over...

Mwa-ha-haaa! ^_^

 Go Go Power Rangers!

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!!!

 Please don't shoot me...I'll be good. ^_^

*CHK-CHK!* Go ahead. Make my day! ^_^

Uhh...wasn't the outfit he was thinking of. Maybe she's a little young
for
that to have occured to her, heh.

Yeah, S's got this innocent mind right now...

 BWAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

A character I'm debating whether or not to introduce. I figure NETTG has
enough
ArbyFish for now, so I need something depressing to counterbalance S.

 GAAAAHHH!!! You did it again!

^_^

 > A: Action sequences?
 > B: Waffy Sequences and character interaction?
 > C: Both!

A good story has both, so C!!!!!!

Maybe I'll have to dig up some of their school-buddies, then...

 > A: Sailor V?
 > B: Sailor Stylin'?
 > C: BOTH! Balance it!

C!!!! You have a good thing going here with a sort of Sempai thing that
Minako has
going with Sailor S, and the interaction between the two practically
requires that
they both be focused on equally. That, and the teamwork there could
really

Excellent!

become
true teamwork, unlike the thing back with Sailor Moon, where they kinda...
stand
around...while SM just tosses off an attack and they go home.

I think you're right. I'll do that, thanks.

 > or even toss in some Dukes of Hazzard...

Only if Minako is driving. I hear she's a speed demon! ^_^

I already have a scene in mind. ^_^

This is much like NETTG in that it seems best if you let it run wild.
There'
s no
telling where you could wind up, and what you could do with it when you
get
started.
The potential is there right now for anything, and it seems to me that's
probably
what you should do with it.

Just let it flow, eh?

Personally, I think you should have them go on a quest to answer the
question that all anime has yet to answer. What the hell and where the
hell are all the men (especially the cool ones, like Ash from Evil Dead)
doing in a > magical girl anime?  ^^;;;

That might be a bit much for them to handle though.

I figured I'd go for them handling a set of more-direct-than-normal
villains...

Heh, not much I could find to nitpick, as far as technical writing went.
It
turned
out to be more of a guy making smart ass comments here and there. Still I
hope this was somewhat helpful for you.

Yeah! It was great. I read it over several times before coming up with this
reply.
Basically, I've got a lot to think about for how to handle this series.

I imagine MUCH smaller chapters than NETTG, though. Anyone mind?
