Just because food monsters are purely a fanfic invention doesn't make
"The Varaiyah Cycle," or "8 Days a Week," etc, into bad stories, though.
Akane looked at her latest creation and shuddered. She was about to
throw it away when a tall, dark haired forigener wearing a fez cap
walked up. He was accompanied by a boy with sandy brown hair.
"Are you going to throw that away?" the man asked.
"Yes. Why?" Akane replied.
The man handed Akane a coin and said, "If you don't mind I would like to
have it."
Akane watched in amazement as the man ate her food and walked off
unharmed.
"Ah. Just like mother used to make."
"I don't see how you can eat that stuff, Aahz."
"Pervect taste buds are different, kid. That girl would go far on Perv
as a gourmet chef."
