 Up in heaven three goddesses looked down at the Earth and wept. The entire
planet was affected and it looked like there were very few survivors. The
great civilizations were in ruin. Many billions were dead now.
 "They're all dead!" , wailed the first goddess there.
 "All except Ranma." , said the second goddess.
 "But he will die soon!" , said the wailing goddess.
 "Not if we do something about it." , said the second.
 The third goddess just stared blankly at the planet below.
 "What can we do about it?" , asked the first goddess with a note of hope in
her voice.
 "We can combine our powers and send him forward in time. The disease has
not infected him. We can send him to a time when it does not exist." , said
the second.
 "But the meteors have decimated the world and it will be a frozen wasteland
for thousands of years. We can not send him far enough. He will die frozen
in that wasteland." , said the first.
 "We can send him to the moon." , said the second.
 "THE MOON!" , exclaimed the first. "But that's a dead planet!"
 "In the future , due to certain magic and another goddess , it will be
habitable." , said the second.
 "It will? What goddess? And why the moon anyway?" , asked the first.
 "That is unimportant now. We must send him forward. We all need to
concentrate our power." , said the second.
 "Yes , I agree." , said the third speaking up for the first time since the
conversation had started there.
 The three goddess grasped each other hands forming a circle and united
their power. They concentrated and recited an ancient spell. They glowed
with Power and old Magic.
 On Earth in the Nerima ward Ranma Saotome was dying. The wounds from where
the dojo had collapsed were too much for him. He knew that if the wounds
didn't get him the disease would.
 (Whoever heard of a disease that eats Ki like Oyaji would breakfast?) , he
thought. (Why did those meteors have to strike this planet? And why did they
have to carry that disease with them?)
 "Now I'm alone." , he said to the cold uncaring wind.
 Ranma thought about how it was just an ordinary day and then the meteors
started landing , more like crashing , and the major cities were destroyed.
The entire planet had been affected. It was like the planet had been hit
with a shotgun. Millions had died and then the worst was discovered. The
meteors had some kind of disease that would completely drain somebody of ki
once they were infected , there was no cure. Miraculously the Nerima ward
had remained somewhat intact when the rest of Tokyo had been obliterated.
They were all happy to be alive. But then they had become infected and
started dying rapidly.
 Ranma cradled the dead bodies of the girls he loved most in life.
 "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." , he said. "I couldn't do anything
about this. I killed Saffron but for all my Power I couldn't stop this from
happening."
 There were tears running down Ranma's Face. He felt very tired , weak , and
dizzy. He decided to lay down for awhile.
 And then well ... something happened. There was a very bright flash and a
portal appeared in the air and sucked the unconscious fading Ranma Saotome
into it. Then the portal closed up.

 In a small village on the moon a young boy was out at night watching the
stars. Then he saw a comet. Looking through the comet tail the stars
appeared to dance then.
 Suddenly there was a bright flash of light which caused him to close his
eyes and when he opened them he was surprised.
 Lying on the ground not too far from him were two unconscious kids : a
black-haired boy with his hair tied in a pigtail who looked to be around
five and a red-haired girl with the same hairstyle who also looked to be
around five.

AN : I haven't finished this yet , but what do you think sofar? When Ranma
was sent forward a side effect is that the curse was split and he an
she(Ranko) were youthened. I haven't decided if I should make this a Lunar ,
Lunar2 , or SM crossover. If it's sm then Ranma and Ranko are sent to the
moon in the time when the moon kingdom is just beginning. Ranma's world
(modern day earth) was what the records referred to as the golden
millennium. When the moon kingdom fell and the queen sent everyone forward
the crystal somehow recreated the earth that existed before the Silver
Millennium. Ranma and Ranko arrive before the silver millennium is started.
A side effect of the curse being split is that when each of them reach 19 ,
the age Ranma was when his World was destroyed , they will stop aging and be
almost - but not completely - immortal. I don't think I've ever seen a fic
where modern day earth came before the silver millennium.
