Though I wonder, what you would do with Card Captor Sakura, a brush,
hand lotion, and a men's electrical razor.
Been thinking about it, and...eh, why not unleash it?
---
Tomoyo smiled as she brushed Sakura's hair. She knew, intimately, how
good it felt; from long experience, she knew the specific points and
tensions that most stimulated or soothed her heart's desire. If they
ever were to make love, this might have been the first step of her
seduction.
As it was, the razor sat on the counter's edge, where it would continue
to sit untouched until Tomoyo was sure Sakura was in the throes of
passion, deaf to any possible alert the cards might give her - if the
cards even cared.
"Ow!"
Tomoyo's eyes widened in shock, part of a tear forming unbidden, as
she slowly pulled the brush out of a snarl in Sakura's hair. "Tomoyo is
sorry, Sakura."
"Are you okay, Tomoyo? You seem spaced out tonight."
"Tomoyo was thinking."
Sakura smiled, glad that whatever had kept her friend from hearing
her for the past several minutes seemed to have passed. "About what?"
"About how cute a couple Sakura and Li have made, and about tonight."
Tomoyo struggled to cry out that she wished with all her heart that she
could take Li's place in taking Sakura's virginity, then damned herself
once more for being too much of a coward to say it. Too much of a
coward, and too willing to go along with whatever Sakura desired.
Sakura closed her eyes, missing the struggle briefly play on Tomoyo's
face, and blushed. "Now, now, Tomoyo. I know it upsets you, but I
absolutely must insist you do not videotape us tonight."
"Sakura..."
The magician opened her eyes moments before she felt Tomoyo's tear land
on her shoulder. "Tomoyo? Were...did you really *want* to tape it?"
"Tomoyo..." 'Now, do it NOW!' her inner voice exclaimed, only to be
shouted down by a stronger desire to pander to Sakura's happiness.
"...was thinking about it. Tomoyo wanted to capture Sakura's happiest
moment." She grimaced at how lame her excuse sounded.
"Aww, Tomoyo." Sakura sighed. Sometimes, her friend's devotion seemed
almost creepy. But, that was Tomoyo. "I'm sorry. I didn't know how
much it meant to you."
"Please, Sakura. Do not worry for Tomoyo's happiness. Tomoyo will be
happy imagining what Sakura will be experiencing."
Sigh easily melted into smile. "I'll be sure to tell you all about it
tomorrow."
Tomoyo smiled too, though hers was a forced ghost compared to Sakura's.
"Tomoyo would like that."
"It's nice of you to help me prepare. Have you gone this far with a
boyfriend?"
"Mm-mm. Sakura's happiness is all that Tomoyo has ever needed. Tomoyo
would do anything to please Sakura."
Sakura reached for her hair, intercepting Tomoyo's hand just as it
reached the brush still partly suspended on the snarl. "Seriously,
Tomoyo. I really appreciate all the help you've given me. I couldn't
ask for a better friend."
"Tomoyo is glad to hear that Sakura is pleased with Tomoyo."
"So, please don't take this the wrong way, but..." She pointed to the
razor with her free hand. "...is that what I think it is?"
"Tomoyo was not sure if Sakura wished to shave down there. Tomoyo knows
Sakura has been developing lately, and thought it worth providing the
option for Sakura to be as she was this time last year." An even lamer
excuse: the real reason for the razor's presence was that it was poorly
constructed, to the point that it was already being recalled by the
manufacturer. Snap off a few bits, and it would become a crude
vibrator. Continue smashing up the safety shield, and it could shred
what she was pretty sure was the thinnest skin on her body, letting the
blood flow. Not that Tomoyo intended to bleed to death: once her blood
contacted the electrical elements, she would be wired to house current.
Hopefully, that would be enough to stop her heart, though she was not
sure, having never committed suicide before. If that failed, perhaps
the razor's blades would be sharp enough to slice her wrists, neck, and
whatever other parts of her body she could cut before fainting from
blood loss. "Tomoyo suspects the hand lotion should substitute as an
aftershave, if shaving would irritate Sakura's skin."
"Oh. Umm, no thanks, I think I'll go the way I am."
"As Sakura wishes."
"Say, Tomoyo?" Sakura relaxed as the rhythym of Tomoyo's brushing
picked up again. "You've been a little tense lately, and, well..."
She gulped. "...umm, you aren't, like...you don't have a crush on Li
yourself, do you?"
Tomoyo's smile became a shade more genuine. "No. Tomoyo likes Li only
because Sakura loves Li. Sakua's happiness is Tomoyo's happiness. That
is all."
Sakura frowned a bit. "That's the thing. You haven't seemed that happy
lately. I wish you would tell me what's bugging you. You aren't afraid
Li's going to, umm, abuse me or anything, are you?"
"Mm-mm. Tomoyo trusts Li as much as Sakura trusts Li."
"With your life?"
"With Sakura's life. Which is more important than Tomoyo's."
"Oh, this is painful to watch." Kero fluttered up from his nearly
forgotten position among Sakura's stuffed animals.
"Kero?" Sakura blinked. "Do you know what's wrong?"
"Do I?" Kero crossed the room in a second and zoomed into Sakura's
face, grabbing her cheeks hard to get leverage to press his own face
into Sakura's, the center of his forehead perfectly cradling into the
bridge of her nose. "Tomoyo. Is. In. Love. With. You."
Sakura blinked again, her eyelashes gently raking over Kero's face. "Of
course she is. She's my friend, and-"
"JUST LIKE Lmmmph!"
Tomoyo wrapped both her hands around a squirming Kero, judging whether
the loss of Kero would outweigh the betrayal that Kero's words would
reveal in the sadness it would bring Sakura. "Kero, please! Sakura
already has a lover. Tomoyo will wait Tomoyo's turn, if it ever comes.
Tomoyo does not want to damage Sakura's heart trying to steal it from
Li."
"Tomoyo..."
She turned away from Sakura, smothering Kero in her cheast as she
instinctively brought her hands to her heart. "Please, Sakura. Forget
about Tomoyo. Go to Li now, so that you may live together in
happiness."
Kero tried to transform, but found himself with too little space even to
wrap himself in his wings. As it was, he was rapidly running out of
air, and trying to concentrate despite the thought of just how much many
of the men he had known would enjoy being trapped like this.
"Tomoyo."
"Please, Sakura."
"Let Kero go." Sakura laid her hands over her friend's, gently guiding
them away from her guardian beast. Once Kero was free, floating down to
the floor with a nosebleed - Sakura made a mental note to check on him
later - she stepped around Tomoyo and cupped Tomoyo's face with their
layered hands, gently forcing Tomoyo to make eye contact. "Now, I'm
going to ask this once, and I want the straight, honest truth: are you
in love with me?"
"..."
"Tomoyo, *please*. I have to know."
"...yes," she squeaked, sorrow almost rendering her voice inaudible.
Sakura quickly analyzed the situation, calling on all the wits she had
developed while battling the cards and their associated disasters, and
quickly saw only one option that made sense. She kissed Tomoyo without
further hesitation.
When they broke the kiss many seconds later, Tomoyo's eyes were wide
with astonishment. "Sakura...is not mad with Tomoyo?"
"I wish you'd told me sooner. We can work something out together, but
only if you trust me. You *do* trust me, right?"
"Tomoyo trusts Sakura in all matters. Tomoyo lives for Sakura."
"Good. Now, I'm not supposed to see Li for a few hours. He doesn't
have to know I won't be a virgin by then."
The razor never did get used, for any of its intended purposes.
