these
freaked me out like almost nothing else I've read.
I am honored. ^_^ (And I should really increase my efforts on the fic
about Serenity's Purification of Crystal Tokyo being little more than
peace through mass mind control...)

And yet only the first two were truly mind control. Principal Kuno was
essentially being blackmailed, and the other three went along more or
less voluntarily (minus NGE's first episode, for Shinji).
Of
course, this hasn't stopped me from being hypocrytical -- I've often
recommended a variation on the hypothetical "adjustment" treatment for
rapists and murderers and suchlike.
Not that I have practical experience, of course, but from various musings
on the subject I've read, it seems useful to delineate between
consciously being controlled - as in these fics - and total, complete
alteration, where there is no "real you" remaining to know what's been
changed - or, at best, views the prior self as no more than a shell,
like how Zelgadis and Mamoru might view their bodies in this situation,
except that the post-alteration person has been "freed" from the shell.
The latter is much more like what happens naturally anyway.
(Those who've seen Utena: yes, this is a similar "shell" as the one that
gets broken for world revolution.)

Yeah. The notion of the Principal being enslaved by the Pineapple is a
wonderful idea. Hmmm. "Ranma and the Invasion of the Alien Pineapples from a
Planet Near Mars", anyone?
Especially if said near-Mars planet turned out to be Earth after all.

Goat and Llama crossbreeding is bad.
Trust me on this.
Umm...ok, if you're *certain* they wouldn't produce a super-donkey.
