Well, I think it was very nice.  I usually skip over this kind of stuff
myself, but since it was you, I read it.  I wasn't disappointed :)

Thanks. Glad you liked it. It's hard to tell how more sedate stuff like this
will be received. Sometimes its good, other times people think it's too
despressing and run like the plague.

It was, as you said, a bit somber, but it did cheer up at the end.

Urd going back to her old self. I thought it would be a good thing to show
things going back to what passes for normal at the old homstead.

Thinking of that maked me think a bit of the old norse legends (the
norns are norse, after all), which in contrast, are somber stories
throughout, and all (as far as I know) end in everybody dieing.

Oh, I don't know. I heard Vikings had a thing for spam, and you can't be
regarded as depressing if you like that.  :)
