I have a feeling that pattern will change momentarily.
'Course! Plot setup n' such, y'know. ^_^

Hermione; I reigster it as nicotine
Catseye: That's because I was smoking when I held them earlier, you twit
Heh heh!
Hermione: I register it as NICOTINE!
Catseye: That's because I was SMOKING when I held them earlier, you twit!
Iolanthe(hands on hips): Well, that's a controlled substance, bub!
Althea: Yeah, not like marijuana or coca leaves!
Pyra: The punishment is DEATH by dinky magic!
(Everyone powers up and starts blasting Catseye with their tiny,
little attacks.)
Catseye(glowers as the shots ping off of him without any effect)

True
They always are, though usually not enough to win.
The Macross "villains" weren't particularly unintelligent, but they lost
anyway... And they weren't really villains. They were just "misunderstood..."
> <Another assassination attempt! Red alert! Shields up!>
So others have tried to kill her before?
Yup! Check chapter 4 on the website:
http://lwf58.tripod.com/fan_fiction/ben-oliver/index.html
Apparently, despite Terra's best efforts, some people have figured it
out.
Funny that Queen Serenity and Sailor Pluto seem to be the last
people to make that discovery...

You can say that again.
Hoo-yeah! Especially from where he is now.

This should be fun.
Was it? ^_^

Heh. Nice way to phrase it
Why bother dancing around? It's best to just cut straight to the truth
and be done with it. ^_^

I think she lost it somewhere in there.
Althea: Well, I, um, just get really excited before a fight!

Heh. Nice way to worm their way out.
Even dinky little worthless attacks can serve SOME purpose. ^_^

Heh
Of course, the big moves also have their place...

Nice paraphrase
With a Jack Napier quote, you can't lose!
> "Of course!" agreed Sailor Jares.

Nice touch
Terra LIKES causing pain and anguish among those she does not like. ^_^
> "The Pink Sugar Cardiac Arrest Glaive!"
Just plain evil.
Since she'd devoured an elder Sailor Saturn, I figured that she'd still
have an obsession with glaives...
Either that or she just really, REALLY likes them. ^_^
Terra(a gleam in her eye as she polishes the blade of her glaive):
I like sharp things!!!
> "THREE!" Althea called. "RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!"
Smart move
Probably the best move they could have made...
> Super Sailor Chibimoon halted her energy-charging efforts and
> held her staff high. "DEATH PINK-RIPPING SILENCE SUGAR-GLAIVE
> REINCARNATED DANCE DANCE BLACK WALTZ REVOLUTION SURPRISE WITH A
> QUANTUM SINGULARITY ON TOP! FIFTH MIX!!! HA-CHI-CHI-CHAAAAAH!"
I think that will do it all right.
I don't think Terra likes being outdone in the magical phrase department,
either...
> "Ulllllpphhh," Sailor Jares groaned, tossed aside underneath
> the bleachers like a crumpled-up cardboard cup.
Well, at least she's still alive.
Or will be, for a few hours...
> "It's her," Sailor Akis confirmed. She pushed herself up on

Such delusions. Poor Akis
She thinks she's got powers of precognition.

Hmm. Odd
Yup, sure was. The effect is, however, consistent with Neherenia's
preemptive strikes...
> Her vision blurring, her senses fading, and her central nervous

Hmm.
Queen Neherenia, famous in the later SuperS series and the beginning
of the Stars series. I liked how they took her out in stars.
Only here, she's a bit younger and more idealistic...
> Okay, anyone see that one coming? (raises a hand)
As I mentioned before. No knowledge of SM, so it did. *Shrug*
I am (sort of) using a real SM villain in here, though...
Nice work. Lots of action kept things fast paced. Didn't see any grammar
errors. Nice work once again.
Thank you very much!
And continuing onward:
Forvhaaaaaaaaard, mardtch! Vhan, thoo, tree, forrr!
> <Unnnh... What just hit me?>
A mirror. Apparently your reflection really was that horrible.
Ouch. ^_^
Terra(grimaces): But I just spent SECONDS perfecting my face.
(grumble) stupid human genetics... (mumble) bad hair days,
mrphlrackingfrackin...

Hmm, her eyes?
Yup! She done got sum crystals in her eyes, g'hyuck! ^_^

Which will never come at this rate.
No, not at this rate. That's for sure.
> "No!" JareJare snapped. "She is a great danger to us all! With

Sound strategy, but I think it's a little late for that.
Sure was...
> A massive surge rocked the entire collective mind.
>
> <@#$%@#^#^#^^@$#@$!! THEY'RE USING A PSYCHIC PROBE!>
Hmm. Wonder why she regards this as being so bad.
Maybe she's afraid they'll discover her dirty little secret or something
like that...?
> Catseye's scream split the air and he jerked his head backward.

Hmm. I think the damage has already been done.
Wait for it...
> "Whew," Catseye breathed a sigh of relief. "That really hurt. I

Heh
*Shudder!*
> YOU BOUGHT IT AT MERVYN'S, DIDN'T YOU?
Cool. Wondered when he'd pop up.
It ain't over till the grim reaper comes in and starts SPEAKING
IN CAPITAL LETTERS.
> Jares turned her head toward the gypsy-Senshi. "But why? It's-"
>
> "She's LYING!!!"
Wonder how she can tell
She thinks she's a precog. ^_^
> <Hoooooooooo-kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. So there ARE human beings

Yep, and you just met one.
Terra(whaps her head): Yeah, well, you don't have to rub it in!
> <What'm I? BRAINDEAD?! We can't! There's no escape route!>
>
> <Besides, where's the fun in a fight unless it's a challenge?>
Oh, I have plenty of fun winning onesided battles. ^_^
That's a good inner dialogue line. I added it.
> Young Queen Neherenia looked at her two followers, her face
> a mask of disdain. "You are all too careless! I told you to destroy

Now she's smart. If she was smarter, she'd be repremanding her employees
after she vaped Terra.
That is true. But we can't have an opposition that's _too_ intelligent.
If we did, then THEY'd win. ^_^
> <Do you realize what I look like in this outfit?>
>
> <A strawberry and vanilla ice cream cone with a cherry on

Heh. Cute
Think of it... A girl in Super Sailor Chibimoon's outfit with long red hair.
Lots of pink and white topped with red...
> <Knight in Shining Armor, quit going all lovey-dovey on your

>
> <Nah, you're doing fine. We're happy where we are.>
Hehehehe. Very nice. I do miss SSK now, though.
He'll be back in a later chapter. You're not gonna believe what happens...
> <Listening in on the conversation... It's about us.>
> "But," JareJare began, looking at her queen, "if she's truly
> so evil, then why would Queen Serenity adopt her as her daughter?"
Stupidity.
Perhaps... ^_^
> The seated young woman slapped her hand against the aim
arm
Oh! Right, fixed it.
> Neherenia relaxed slightly. "Good. In answer to your question,

or else (would sound better to me)
Agreed. I fixed that. Thanks.

I'll make it three then. Sounds good to me as well.
Nehie's in it for selfish reasons, but all she really cares about is her
mirror
and stuff.
> "Oh," replied the still semi-coherent Sailor Jares, ignoring

Hmm. Terra really sucked a lot of her intelliegnce out of her, eh?
Yeah, caused a degenerative condition as well, in fact.
> <Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, sensors indicate that Neherenia is

Ah, that explains the pause
Had to explain it away somehow
> Yes, basically a long battle sequence, but occasionally, it is necessary,

It works well enough though. I like it as is.
Thanks! I'm glad it worked out. I can't always be sure about these things.
Now to see to the next part.
My, another one hot on the heels of the last one:
<Shiko> Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai! </Shiko>
> Neherenia shook her head, sighed and pointed her hand at the

Nice to see she keeps her calm.
Can't have her get too worried. She's the toughest opponent in this
chapter! ^_^
> "I do not know what is worse," Neherenia spat and advanced a

I vote for arrogance.
Yeah, nine billion years of obliterating galaxies can give ya something
of an inflated head, I'd imagine.
I mean, just look at Galactus! He could wipe out the universe with
just a wave of his ego! ^_^
> <Is it just me, or is this prism we're using really, REALLY

It is
Indeed. When going for a combat speciality, do NOT study Sailor
Chibimoon's moves.
> <Not breaking down. The transformation is not toxic to us, but

> <And we just figured that out NOW?!>
>
> <Yup!>
Heh. Finally she figures it out.
Too her long enough...
> <Yes, we're screwed. Royally, thoroughly, utterly and

I doubt it. It's still way to early for her to die now.
Yeah, and when she finally DOES die off, she's not going to
be quite so worried...
> *BLAAAM!* The focused shot exploded around the girl, burning

Hmm. Wonder if Nehe's recharging again.
Probably.

Jare's needed em too. :)
Yeah... Terra's kind of a feisty little girl, isn't she?
> <You are near the Gate of Time and have its Guardian very

Hmm. Might work
Seemed like a good idea at the time... ^_^
> <My desires are your desires. Not the other way around.>
>
> <But... I. Love. Her!>
>
> <We do not concur.>
And this is where she'll win out, methinks. Terrafying is a bad girl, after
all. :)
Bad girls always win!!!
And ASK is, after all, just a figment of her imagination, and not the
other way around...
> The sixteen-year-old queen's expression softened and she

Oops. That might get Terra the time she needs.
I think it did...

Actually it probably has.
(nodnod)
> <This is the Atomic Starlight Knight, reporting failure.>
I think I remember that chapter. Been a while though.
Yup! From Sailor Pluto's flashback when she was on the Dumbo
Ride with Ranma.
There was a sugar overload that just BEGGED to be put out of its
misery.
> Both Asteroid Senshi shot her an evil, pitiless glare. "Die!"
Well, their resolve is firm, you have to admit.
Especially after all they've been through with her.
> *SHIIIIIIINNN!* After about four feet of metal were exposed, the

> Neherenia's overconfident smirk shifted into a frown.
Heh
I mean, that's a big sword there.
> "The battle is over," Giles announced, placing the scabbard

Not this time.
Hmmm, no, I guess not. ^_^
> Oh, great, I made up ANOTHER new character.
You make it sound like an accident. :)
Some characters just demand to be created and I can barely
do anything to stop it.
There was this Moon Prince that wanted to be called into
existence (what with the Moon King and Queen getting
back together and going on this HUGE second honeymoon),
but we somehow managed to ignore that and let it not happen
anyway...
Nice work. Interesting resolution to the conflict. Fight worked well
enough.
Thanks! I was very worried about getting that to turn out right.
Will read more as I get the chance and let you know.
Excellent! I like hearing your remarks.
I like to hear when people like what I've written up.
