Really? She didn't seem to have any feelings along those lines. Mostly I
think it was because she had not experienced anything like emotions before.
Another interesting question, on which there isn't much unequivocal
evidence, if any... we only see Ifurita "before Makoto" for a couple of
minutes, and possibly in her own memories. My opinion is that she was
showing irritability (of course, Jinnai could annoy a rock) and weariness;
she was perfectly functional, but was tired of destroying and of being
ordered to destroy. Possibly even regret.
There was the line in the anime where she said something like:
"I live to destroy and cause suffering. If there is an and
to this existence, I wish for nothing else."
Not sure if she said the same in the original Japanese. But whatever; the
English-language version, at least, does seem to fit your take on her,
